Damn Capa dismantled him. For as good as Nimso was he was always looked at as Capa and Alekhine's b*tch and was pimp slapped repeatedly whenever he played against them.
kasparov considers the plan of ...Qd7, ...Nd7,e5,c4 to be very impressive. it's one of those little manouevres that seems simple when capa plays it, but is very difficult to find over the board. that capa used 3 tempos for the knight, down a pawn, and without immediately trying to regain the pawn on the queenside, is indeed impressive.
