Yeah science is totally kick ass. I pretty much like all of their music but as of late they definately went down the mainstream. When science came out it was like revolutionary i had never heard anything like that now i feel like they pretty much play it safe. In any case amazing band i saw them perform at lalapalooza that year with audioslave in ohio it was one of the best shows ever

Sorry, but this version isn't like what David Cook did on American Idol. Yep, they are both guys singing 'Hello' with an electric guitar. But the arrangement is different if you listen to both. I think Cook's version sounds and flows much better, but that is just my opinion.

Incubus is more faithful to the Lionel Richie's version. Cook really reworked his.

you know what david cook may not have given credit to incusbus or doxology(whoever they are) but who cares its idol they dont have to really give credit except to the person(s) who orginally wrote the song

yeah, i have to agree here. cook's covers are similiar enough that i think he was inspired. the doxology version is almost exact (check out rickey . org) But the only one who really should get credit is the original artist. this is just a risk you take when you do a cover. For all we know, david wanted to credit dox. and AI wouldn't allow it. AI probably would have to give doxology money if they credited their version, and they probably aren't legally required to. it is a beatle's song!
