  • holy cow!!

  • wow you guys have no life

  • I'm a sucker for Labidochromis Caeruleus and that one you have is very nice.

I was feeding mine HIKARI CICHLID GOLD till I found New Life Spectrum Cichlid Formula.

my fish like it much better.

    Love that Tiger Oscar BTW

  • thanks

i will look into that brand, and thanks,

and unfortunately, my oscars have passed away. :(

  • You know...the water parameters are different for african and american cichilds. Africans want much harder, more alkaline water. Unless the water is right at around ph of 7, neither are happy and even then, at 7, its a comprimise for both.

  • i know, but both of my cichlids are still doing fine.

  • Well I guess if the PH is close to 7 maybe both can manage.Your albino oscar is really nice by the way. I used to have one long ago. Miss him.

  • unfortunately, mine died 3 months ago. :(

  • Sorry to hear about that :(

  • I have 9 cichlids in my 55 gal tank. 3 South American and 6 African. PH is 6 (mayb Less, that's the lowest on the test card) and for some reason they are doing fine... Any idea how to increase the PH?

  • buy a pH buffer at your LFS or online, or just add baking soda, but not too much. google it, and you'll find many ways too increase you pH

  • I just put crushed corals in the tank last night. PH is going up.... hopefully, it stops around 8.

  • this music fits perfectly well with the fish. BORING.

  • how much was yure canister filter.becuh the one is see come in around 100 to 200 buccs and i need one

  • about $120 at my local aquarium.

  • ok..im savin up and i got like 64 bucks

  • quote from chrisjmex408 7 months ago "this video is kind of old, ill be posting a new one soon"

wheres the new video?!? i want to see more of this tank!

  • really nice set up m8. am i right in sayin its pointless puting plants in because they dig them up ??

  • thanks, you can say it is pointless but, my fish dont really dig them up. they do every now and then, but not much of a hassle, id say it depends ussually on your fish.

  • cool set up man i like the tank were did you get it from plz love the set up man sweet

  • i bouth it off my friend, i have no clue where he got it, i will try and ask though. thanks for commment. i have changed it around though, aswell as new fish, two of the ones in here died (yellow lab, and cobalt blue)but i added new ones too, new vid soon to come :)

  • how much did the canister filter cost you?

  • about $120 at my local aquarium,im sure u can find it cheaper online though.

  • o need some oxygen in that tank all the fish are garsping lift the output of the fluval 404 so it breaks the surface

  • lol cant you see the air bubbles coming up? it wasnt enough i'll give you that. i've fixed it, this video is kind of old, ill be posting a new one soon.

  • nice tank! what kind of filter are you using

  • all the info is in the info about the video -_- a FLUVAL 404/405 CANISTER FILTER

  • nice tank

  • thank you :)

  • i LOVE your set up!

i just set up a 90 gallon i bought for 10 bucks at a garage sale, but its old, there are no scratches, but it has a thick chrome frame going up the corners and it makes it look alot smaller. but its just my oscar in there. he is way to territorial to mix with anything else.

also you can buy a real fine grade Plexiglases sandpaper to get that buff out

  • Love the tank.

  • thank you :]

  • the oscar in the 30 gal and leave the cichlids in the 85 or vice versa!

Bahaha, you think your helping out when you'd think of putting an oscar in a 30G? Dick.

  • same here i was like wtf?

  • people get way to serious about telling people what to do. Almost anything goes in the aquarium fish hobby. Some things work for some people and not for others and thats the way it is. good job chris.

  • hahaha thanks :)

  • dude what the hell? you can't put an oscar in with those african cichlids!!! The two fish have different pH and hardness needs so I'd reccomend putting the oscar in the 30 gal and leave the cichlids in the 85 or vice versa!

  • lmao dude you dont need set pH levels.. i've had them for almost a year, there fine, and very healthy i know your suppose to, but remember that aquarium bred fish are more addaptable. so dont tell me what i need to do, i know what im doing ;)
