Leafstar, there are many people who I think are the majority of hunters who have better ethic than you describe. All hunters that I know of hunt for food primarily because its better food than what you buy at the store. I, for one, need to eat meat that has no antibiotics or hormones for my health and therefore the more game meat I eat, the better I feel and the healthier I am. I've never met a hunter who hunted for fun, except in Texas. Don't be naive.
Great video, Scott. I've often wondered if something similar, on a much smaller scale, of course, isn't happening in Missouri with regard to the Cougar. Being a land surveyor, I've talked with many folks who claim to have seen Cougars, their sign, etc., only to have been "taken to school" by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Missouri's wildlife code does not permit me to carry a sidearm while bowhunting. There are also Bears moving into southern Missouri. This is getting interesting.

Think the fish and game in Idaho are bad, try the fish and game in Montana, or the worse yet, the Yellowstone National Park Biologists. New survey out (From park service?) 1995, 1,200 moose in Yellowstone. In 2010, 117 were counted. Is that sustainable for a moose population? Why does the park not say anything about saving the moose? Are wolves so important that all other wildlife must face the consequences? Udder tragedy, and its playing out where ever wolves become established.

Think the fish and game in Idaho are bad, try the fish and game in Montana, or the worse yet, the Yellowstone National Park Biologists. New survey out (From park service?) 1995, 1,200 moose in Yellowstone. In 2010, 117 were counted. Is that sustainable for a moose population? Why does the park not say anything about saving the moose? Are wolves so important that all other wildlife must face the consequences? Udder tragedy, and its playing out where ever wolves become established.
