    Bonne suite !

  • nice. for some reason this made me think of borderlands.. must be the slide guitar haha

  • the funkiness of this gave me chills

  • NICE EGNATOR!

  • Love it, well done!

  • Absolutely brilliant mate. You are mega talented :)

  • Why no Download? : * * ' (

  • Everyone loves some chicken pickin

  • I don't know what it would take, but could you find it in your heart to make a "How to" video for that first badass riff?

  • it sounds good, but it barely sounds like the turks theme. its too lively. ya know? but its good playing though.

  • To put it simply, FAIL.

  • @BahamutZEROteraFlare noobish troll is noobish

  • Your 'cool bluesman' outfit is awesome! ;) No need to say, the cover is great as well

  • This slide is cool!

  • Lol this sounds like the music of FF7 and Trigun mixed together. I like it XD

  • 4 people couldn't outrun the Turks...

  • rhythm guitar... isn't it detuned a little bit?

  • this is too amazing

  • Needs more bacon...just kidding,it's awesome :D

  • Comment removed

  • Needs more ukulele or just a breathy panflute going a 7th higher for a repeat! With a One bar silence before it! And it shall be even better!

  • DUDE!! you should be on "the worlds kick ass show" : DD

  • dude! that's awesome!

  • fricken rocks man!!

I've been looking for vidgame music played live. This is awesome..

  • I think the added guitar gives the song a different feel, I like the song but the Turk's theme was supposed to bring out their darker side.

I like it, it's just doesn't give the right emotion.

  • I would really love you if you would share the tabs =D

  • This is BRILLIANT! Love your take on this theme. Awesome!

  • one of your best yet! amazing job!

  • One word, just one! SMEXY!

  • No live drums this time around? Is that a permanent decision, or will you be continuing to experiment with the drumset?

  • @jonbashjonbash I wasn't gonna use the drumset on this one anyway, but I'll keep using it for future videos (if the song isn't too hard to cover).

  • something is really wrong here!!! too short!!! still I loved it!!

  • any chance of doing any of the music from Diablo II?

  • I feel you should put "remix" in the title because I had to listen to this 3 times before I could really get as turks "Feel" it's not not close enough to the real theme...

  • I'm constantly amazed at how you create covers. I'm sure they take a lot of work, but please keep them coming.

  • J'adore ton arrangement.

  • @SongeLeReveur And what about tons of other YouTube partners covering/ReArranging copyrighted songs? For example, Trudbol earned money from your Super Marion Bros video... i think you should talk with him, he could help you become a partner, i think.

  • I can't say it's my fav cover. I hear it in there but it's just not as epic all jazzed up. Still you play amazingly.

  • As a gamer, I could both hear this in a game and believe it belongs there...good work!

  • Oh, man. This is great. But I NEED a longer version of this. It feels like it stops almost as soon as it hits full-power groove! I would totally put an mp3 of this on my playlist.

  • You're blowin' my mind here, dude.

  • @SongeLeReveur Have you heard to metaldaniel03 (Daniel Tidwell)? He does a lot of video game covers, and I think he explained a legal way to make money off of the covers. Maybe you could ask him. Just a thought.

  • you should make music for video games

  • Great one!!!

  • Génial, original et créatif !!!!! :D

  • Sunglasses are a great complement to the hat.

  • love how this builds up :) genius

  • Sick as all get out

  • You make you own music too? you're good, so you should show of some of your own music too. It's allowed to have your own music based on something existing ;-)

  • Awh, fantastic...

  • I agree with the other people saying it sounds nothing like the Turks Theme at all. The playing is not bad or anything, I just feel like you added TOO much. The musical parts that make it recognizable get lost in all the other parts to the point where it might as well be a completely different song not based on the Turks Theme. In other words, I would not have known it was the Turks Theme if it wasn't for the title.

  • Dude this is so good.

You had better submit this to OC remix. It uses enough source and original music to be included. It just might need to be a little bit longer.

I would LOVE to see it there.

  • ...And you do it again! XD congrats man another tag in the bag, keep up the fantastic work!

  • Awesome cover. Great performance. Excellent camera work and editing.

  • Soooo Coooool!!!!))))

  • neat-o

  • @SongeLeReveur No way! If Brentalfloss can make money off what he does what's stopping you?

  • @napdogs More importantly if RoosterTeeth can make money off what they do I don't see why LeReveur can't.

  • I love your arrangements!Dont stop please you are a genius!!

  • Had to listen to the original version, but I can hear it now. Nice Jazzy feel to it :D

  • awsome job!!

  • very cool, very funky re-imagining of the theme, I like a lot!

  • I kind of want to switch all my ff7 songs with your mixes for in-game playing.

  • @SongeLeReveur I think it depends upon your country. There are several people who sell albums of their VGM covers, such as metroidmetal, the minibosses and a few others.

In the US, this would most likely qualify as a "derivative work" and would not infringe copyright, so long as it has enough original content (which it probably does). Don't take my word as legal advice, though. I'm just saying that you could probably sell this stuff if you wanted to.

  • @Taedrin The right to produce derivative works is actually exclusively held by the copyright owner/administrator. A compulsory mechanical license could be filed for in the event that a direct license can't or won't be issued, but one of the limitations of a compulsory license is that it doesn't allow for much originality.. You can adapt the licensed work to fit a theme or style, but may not fundamentally alter the arrangement or lyrics, etc.

  • How are you not a youtube partner yet?

  • I love how you're style and approach to these covers has evolved over the years. Instead of going note for note you add originality and new perspective while keeping true to the feel of the original. keep it up!

  • I love his face when he is concentrating too hard :D

  • Epic win, dude. Congrats

  • ... I miss your Parker Fly Classic... So... Much...

  • sounds good, but it sounds nothing at all like the turk's theme from ff7

  • @SkankinDevil89 Listen carefully to the WHOLE original, then... :)

  • @SongeLeReveur Yeah, you skipped the intro of the Theme. I love your take on it, though. I am glad you didn't do a rigid cover.

  • @SongeLeReveur i just did. it still sounds nothing like it. doesnt sound bad, just if i heard your cover and didnt read the title of your video, i wouldnt know its supposed to be the turks theme.

  • @SkankinDevil89 I have to agree. The Turks theme is my favorite song in the whole game. This version doesn't remind me of it in the slightest.

  • @glassjaw442 Then I guess we're not sensitive to the same musical cues. I may have obliterated parts of the arrangement that you felt were crucial to the identity of the song, but seemed unimportant/uninteresting to my tastes. Just be sure I wouldn't put this name on a video of mine if the music were completely unrelated to the original. ;)

  • @SongeLeReveur Don't get me wrong, I still love your arrangements and videos. That's why I subscribe ;)

  • @glassjaw442 The melody is being played by the instrument in the bottom right corner at 0:48. (when the video shows all 4 parts at once). The melody starts at 0:08, and only consists of a 2 (or is it 3?) sets of 3 notes. These are very sparse, and very simple, so MOST people essentially ignore the melody entirely, and instead focus on the rhythm/percussion which sets the mood of the song (which SongeLeReveur has changed here, which is why most people can't place the song without being told).

  • @Taedrin I understand what he's doing with the melody with the sliding, it just doesn't remind me enough of the a song that's been stuck in my head for 14 years.

  • @SongeLeReveur

    This is EPICNESS....

  • @SkankinDevil89 Oh yea, it's totally there... believe it or not try to close your eyes and really listen. The song's so well done it can quite literally paint the image of the Turks in your mind

  • @SkankinDevil89 That's only because in the original version the rhytm is way on top of everything else , listen carefully i had the same reaction, but its there ;) its just nicely done :P

  • @SkankinDevil89 I disagree completely. Clear your mind of the absolute tempo, remember how the feel of the song goes, and try again. Then, be amazed.

  • It's TOO SHORT! I need a 10 min version of this awesomeness :)

  • i listen to it...again...and again...and again...and its still awesome...so i will listen to it again :-)

  • Bravo!

  • @CidSilverWing I think a lot of people misunderstood your compliment as something else, but I must disagree with the video game music industry. The songs that have been composed for video games are some of the best pieces of our time. We don't have Bach or Bethoven...we have Nobuo and Hitoshi. :p Reveurs music is amazing because like stated by others, his love for it. In my opinion we need more people like him to carry out that kind of passion to the music of video games!

  • This is I think my first coment on one of your videos but I have seen them all and its just AMAZING how and what you play man keep it up.

  • "Love," isn't even strong enough an expression for my emotion for your piece right now, let alone your interpretation of one of my fav VII songs.

  • this is smothered with awesomesauce

  • Oh man, that rhythm guitar grooves so hard

  • that was sexy :D

  • I may be hanged for saying this but I wasn't overly into Final Fantasy VII, given that....I think the music is brilliant, and you have taken this and put your slant on it, amazing. Best wishes. Dan

  • YEAH!

  • That was fucking cool

  • I love it! :-)

  • @CidSilverWing what's wrong with the game music industry? he's awesome because he loves what he plays!

  • @leafscratch Nah nah nah, dude, he's right. This guy's way too good to be in game music! Mostly 'cause he's way too good to be in any music industry! I vote he starts his own and dominates everything. It'll be like Metalocalypse, with a bit more jazz.

  • @Lizarius You mean zazz?

  • @leafscratch Talk about missing the point. Reveur's talents can't be priced. Get a clue.

  • Comment removed

  • @xMistaGrimm Would that your insightful comment wasn't removed there.

Reveur's talents are the Earthly manifestation of something heavenly.

  • @CidSilverWing The comment is still there. And I concur, his talents are something heavenly indeed. I want the entire FFVII ablum remade by him. XD Crazy Motorcycle and The Bombing Mission is something I hope to see in the future. I think he would create something awesome with those. :3

  • @CidSilverWing It can and it should be priced, but you phrased it that it gave an idea of mocking the game music industry which is in my opinion way better then popular music garbage the big corporate bigshots throw out nowadays. For example this piece of is very stunning. : )

  • @CidSilverWing Hans Zimmer is an incredible composer, yet he composes game music as well?

  • @CidSilverWing It's funny how people still talk down about video game music like it's inferior, like it's just bleeps and bloops or something. Video game music has an incredibly rich, diverse soundtrack, especially with more modern games. You'd be surprised how video game soundtracks can be better than movie or proprietary soundtracks.

  • @CidSilverWing Booooo.

  • HELL YES

  • That rhythm guitar riff is so very sexy...

  • @BackToTheFoundation Seconded XD

  • awesome. nuff said

  • Amazing! Fucking loved this song!

  • This makes me wonder how amazing you would be when slapping the bass.

  • badass, bruh. Likin' the funky groove!

  • exceptionnel!!!

    bravo!!

  • Niiiiice!

  • Whoooahh....! Nice re-creation for the Turks!

  • I'm a good person, I've always hated suits. :-)

This has nothing to do with the original tune, right? I remember it had only percussion. I love how you fuNked it up.

  • you´re amazing, continuing the good work you do :)

  • Man SongeLeReveur, I love your guitar work, and props for tabs floating around on gametabs <3

  • Yeah, pretty much the most awesome version of the Turks theme I've heard. You are pretty amazing when it comes to music!

  • pinnacle of complete awesomeness

your version = 20 times better then original

  • This is why there's a subscribe button :)

  • Wow! great work.

  • This is badass. Jus'sayin.
