  • I appreciate your attempt to show how one of these works. However, the camera jerks around a lot at the beginning and I can't always see what you are pressing - I have one of these but the manual isn't much help - I'm more of a hands on learner. Can no one just focus the camera on the unit and have things well lit so we can see WHAT you are doing?

  • Be nice if there was some SOUND with this...

  • as said previously, switch the video settings to 240p for audio...not sure why that is, but it works for me

  • thats real tranve music, very cool.

could you use it as a controller for daw's?

  • watch in LOW Quality for sound

  • Sound works OK on the 240p setting

  • Yeah, i have no idea where the audio has gone.

  • No audio?

  • THERE IS NO AUDIO!

  • Johann Sebastian Bach with step sequencer, notation programms in 1750 :)

  • What a quality, organic seq, defo on my to buy list now, cleared up a few concerns I had, Nice informative vid to, nice one.

  • you can save preset to a sequencer using preset 0.. when you press the store function on 0 it saves the settings as system exclusive over midi... should of got the one with the blue LEDS they look soooooo cool.

  • i think the sequencer will use 3 different midi channels

  • how do you separate the sounds from the keyboard into different lines?

  • Very good, thanks , ,just a question is there a random button for making a sequence, i use this mode a lot on software Sequencers,

  • very good demo & i will use the footage to assist me if i get a 16/3

  • Yes of course you can, but try altering individual notes in the sequence when it's playing back! That's where analogue sequencers score points.

  • can use a keyboard to make a sequence

  • Waching this vid, I feel am 25 years younger again, playing around with Korgs and Moogs...

  • Hello, I've posted this video on switchedonsynthesizer.blogpost . com

  • so helpful THANKS!!!!

  • Hey, any of these people criticizing this video have never made a video. i found this video incredibly informative, well put together, and the guy was articulate and didn't waste any time with trivialities. right to the meat and potatoes. i don't see any trembling

    Nice job ^5

  • Doepfers manual is awful. Thanks for the video!

  • wow.thanks for that.

  • Thanks for taking the time to make a down to earth explination...

  • The cameraman is trembling like he just jumped the fence on a metallica konsert. (I tried it last month and my video is crap!)

  • Very nice explanation, but very bad, nervously and too dark video recording. Next time use a tripod and extra light...

    The soundrecording however is perfect.

  • Thanks im sold.....

  • thats a really nice sequencer :)

  • nice one kev, just got one yesterday & u have saved me a lot of head scatching. malsaxo

  • great Thanks!

  • Kevin, you're as good as it gets with this kind of analog sequencing. Love it, along with the beautiful, if antiquatedly sample-rated, demos on Doepfer's site.
