gas is $4.27 a gallon in Vacouver BC,,, and thats for reguloid...we have 94 octane cheveron whick works out to about $5.10 a gallon,,,our gallon is a little larger than USA

So I dont know where you got your info that people in the trades use the metric system. What about carpentry another trade... You dont hear them saying studs are 40.64cm center to center.
