Download and use youtube videos

Copy the url of the video,go to zamzar.com,click download video,paste it,and u can select what file format u want it to. if u click wmv then that makes it to where u can play it with windows media player and use it with video editing software. Its spyware free and i LOVE IT! There are popups coming at u but they cant harm ur computer as long as u dont click on them. They are usually just stuff like screensaver advertisments or credit score checkers. Its much simpilar then this!

Use ZillaTube to download from YouTube...... at fast speed to your computer, and also convert so easily to powerpoint video file.

Then just insert that video into your powerpoint

just google for "zillatube"  It works awesome.

You could use a screen capture program like screenflow to convert the presentation into a video for youtube, or upload your powerpoint slides to slideshare instead.

It works great if you use "zillatube" :---)

Downloads from youtube at fast speed, and also helps you play them. (and also convert them) e.g. convert to mp4 for ipod/itunes, mp3 player, mpg for movie maker, and more.

Ugh i've tried that stupid thing, downloaded it and all. It got my youtube clip on the desktop alright but i really really need it on my powerpoint presentation. it SAID to drag and drop the icon/clip onto its window thing but then it wouldnt allow me to do that. so frustrated? would be sooo grateful if you had any tips?

I think there is a newer download youtube userscript now. Sorry for not being able to go into my video and change it, but until Youtube lets you do that, the video can only remain as it is.

maybe, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know. Feel free to use mediacoder if you want. I'll even take a look some time perhaps, but this video just shows one way that has worked for me. Thanks for sharing another possible method.

Please help me! I dragged and placed the video and then I clicked the encode button but it says encoding failed!(I've changed the name from flv to mpeg but it doesn't work!) What should I do?

You could try changing the audio settings. They are on the bottom on the right hand side of Riva FLV encoder. Try changing the "Sampling Rate" to 44100. If that doesn't work, try a different setting.

If you are having problems with the drag and drop method, you can click the "Browse" button in the "Input video" box and select the file you want to convert from there instead.
