we also usedx dry ice..yeah thats how slippery it was. when they sweeped up the snow 4 the next show,some plastic was on the stage so when thee sno fell, a teeny peice hit me on the head!! i was like..WHAT??

ugh i feel bad for her! i know how slippery the snow is... for us they didn't like sprinkle it they just dropped it on us in a part where we are boureeing and looking up and it got in peoples mouthes and eyes:p

I wish the dancers could only perform down stage or up stage of the falling snow. I see an injury due to the slick stage too often.

That must have hurt. At our 2006 Nutcracker performance, when the snow was falling during this scene, the lights came down and knocked a girl right in the head. She had to go the doctor to get it checked out and missed the next performance.

well....anybody who has danced with snow coming down knows how slick it makes the stage. At least it was dress rehearsal :)
