Hey dalton696 - I have been reading that the process will begin approximately two months before the 2012 filing deadline. Texas will be the first state, since it will be running as the earliest primary state in November of 2011. So I figure we have a month!

YEAH! I have "worked" for 42 years and still have 6 more till full retirement age, but then I work in a factory and work hard. If these guys had to go to a real job they would be happy to get out and not keep adding years to the age when workers can finally retire. I hardly consider what they do as working hard when they get tons of vacation time, free and better health care than I have and have access to extra money whenever they want it. This should be a part time position.

I've been looking for the best plan for 20+ years, and this is it. It also provides a way to finance the candidates. If you want your goooh group to represent the Independence or Constitutionalist foundations... it's a GOOOH... That is what is great about the plan!!!

GOOOH IS fixing the machinery. It is locating enough honest citizens capable of doing the job so that nobody CAN spend a lifetime in office. They're all honest for the first 4-6 years. But nobody ever leaves once they get in.

Some believed that congress would self-impose. But as we know now, power can corrupt. The republicans tried to pass an term limit amendment in 1994, but could not get the 2/3 votes needed. Why would the powerful congress cut thier own "power hungry" throats?

It a new system of voting representatives into their district without the campaign contributions. Politicians on both sides are bought out by many different corporations. @himajinoO I understand what you mean; however, the GOOOH system is based on individual contributions that make up the campaign coffers for all 435 candidates. The special interest money that is used our current corrupt politicians is no different, in my mind, that taking mafia money. They don't have to do that. They could create a contribution system like GOOOH's where the candidate doesn't do fund-raising and doesn't owe anyone any favors at the end of a successful campaign. No taxes needed.

Ron Paul has consistently voted for the Constitution so you always know how he'll vote. Never once has he voted himself (or others) a pay raise. Returns a portion of his budget every year, voted against the patriot act, and so on and so on. Check it out yourself. He is the ONLY politician I know of who has NOT been bought and paid for by any lobbyist. Hands down the best politician since James Madison or George Washington.

What is GOOOH's position on ending the Federal Reserve? Our fractional reserve banking system, and our fiat currency allows the criminial politicians to create money out of nothing. This causes inflation which is a hidden tax on the people because it steals value from their money. If we don't take the power to counterfeit money away from the government we will never solve our problems.
@thinkertank1 GOOOH isn't a party with a platform. The individual GOOOH candidates will have their own stances on these sorts of issues. Of the mock sessions I've attended, I've found several people who are for ending the Fed. There are a lot of Libertarians in the crowd of GOOOH supporters because GOOOH provides the means for candidates to have individualized platforms. It rocks.

@agroundhere The first Congressmen had no curriculum by which to learn other than the Constitution which is very specific as to their role in government. Heading back to those days is definitely preferable to this "we don't need any rules" ruling political class crowd that's there already.

YEAH! I have "worked" for 42 years and still have 6 more till full retirement age, but then I work in a factory and work hard. If these guys had to go to a real job they would be happy to get out and not keep adding years to the age when workers can finally retire. I hardly consider what they do as working hard when they get tons of vacation time, free and better health care than I have and have access to extra money whenever they want it. This should be a part time position.

I've been looking for the best plan for 20+ years, and this is it. It also provides a way to finance the candidates. It is true that our founding fathers did not impose term limits, but the founders did believe in them. Abraham Lincoln imposed a self-term limit when he was in congress. Some believed that congress would self-impose. But as we know now, power can corrupt. The republicans tried to pass an term limit amendment in 1994, but could not get the 2/3 votes needed. Why would the powerful congress cut thier own "power hungry" throats?

The base primacies GOOOH's argument is based off of are false (being either sheer ignorance or deliberate lies).
Our founding forefathers did not impose term limits. The first term limits (presidential) were set in 1951 (which is long after the founding of our nation). Supreme Court Judges even have lifelong term limits written into the Constitution.

@Platolitics Yes, GOOOH does want to remove all members of the US House. It's a new process that employs "citizen representatives" in the House and removes career politicians. A Rep who has been in the House for a couple of terms is done; it's time to replace him/her with new blood. These folks represent 660,000 people in their districts. Out of those, there are many, many people just as qualified to fill the job.

himajino0: You are exactly describing the problem. Our politicians are getting special interest money, etc. Then, those same politicians are on the hook for "favors" of those that gave them money. So, instead of voting for thier constituents, they vote the way the special interest wants. Our politicians have so become accustomed to "scratch my back, I'll scratch yours", that they forget to watch our back (the people). Term limits would definitely cut down on the corrupt non-representation..

The GOOOH system is by far the best way I have ever seen to truly get the best people among us elected. Right now, you would be a fool to think those in Washington are representing their constituents. However, the system Tim Cox came up with is nothing short of amazing - it finds and promotes the best of the best, and after all, isn't that who we really want in charge?

GOOOH is about choosing public servants who will represent your ideals and be held accountable to you. End special interest funding and corruption. Their answer is to spend trillions more. But they call it recovery. If any political party gets too powerful with a too large government they smell blood in the water and you get a feeding frenzy. Our government is Our People - unfortunately, as you noted, some of our people have decided that they are "ruling class" and that will not be tolerated here. GOOOH defines a system of accountability and term limits along with no special interest money or direct fund-raising by candidates. It will make these Representatives TRULY DIFFERENT from those we have now.

@himajinoO I understand what you mean; however, the GOOOH system is based on individual contributions that make up the campaign coffers for all 435 candidates. The special interest money that is used our current corrupt politicians is no different, in my mind, that taking mafia money. They don't have to do that. They could create a contribution system like GOOOH's where the candidate doesn't do fund-raising and doesn't owe anyone any favors at the end of a successful campaign. No taxes needed.

Ron Paul has consistently voted for the Constitution so you always know how he'll vote. Never once has he voted himself (or others) a pay raise. Returns a portion of his budget every year, voted against the patriot act, and so on and so on. Check it out yourself. He is the ONLY politician I know of who has NOT been bought and paid for by any lobbyist. Hands down the best politician since James Madison or George Washington.

@EndTheFedRes Sorry. Even Ron Paul will GOOOH. (I like him too and voted for him in the GOP primary in 2008.) Paul has put up resolution after resolution for term limits. Apparently the Congress won't voluntarily limit their "careers," so it's time to enforce term limits on our own.

What is GOOOH's position on ending the Federal Reserve? Our fractional reserve banking system, and our fiat currency allows the criminial politicians to create money out of nothing. This causes inflation which is a hidden tax on the people because it steals value from their money. If we don't take the power to counterfeit money away from the government we will never solve our problems.

@thinkertank1 GOOOH isn't a party with a platform. The individual GOOOH candidates will have their own stances on these sorts of issues. Of the mock sessions I've attended, I've found several people who are for ending the Fed. There are a lot of Libertarians in the crowd of GOOOH supporters because GOOOH provides the means for candidates to have individualized platforms. It rocks.

They are just as arrogant, small-minded and just plain stupid as most of America. And why not? Their constituents want everything, and for free. A bloated military, 2 wars, excessive debt - and low taxes! Don't blame Washington, look in the mirror.
To expect the newbies to do better is understandable but may not be realistic. They will be learning as they go ...

@agroundhere The first Congressmen had no curriculum by which to learn other than the Constitution which is very specific as to their role in government. Heading back to those days is definitely preferable to this "we don't need any rules" ruling political class crowd that's there already.

Politics is a game that only career politicians play. Many times both parties get together to pass laws that go against their promises to voters and which are the reasons they got elec ted. This is undemocratic because they made false promises to get elected! My definition of politician is: The Art Of Deceiving Others and this must be stopped.
