  • they're just idiots

  • Thank you for the tutorial!

I understand lsdj doesn't want to be "an easy task" and think people who compains for your tutorial being not "user friendly" enough for their lazy brain...

  • there's 1 problem, i only know how to scroll in it...

  • Thanks for the help

  • @LifeAccording2Chris Glad to be able to help! Peace//K

  • i know you're good ans all.... but this isn't a tutorial. for a non-fail "tutorial" you need to explain how you're doing this.

  • good stuff thanks

  • Thank you so much.... I have been using LSDJ for a few hours and I already know so much thanks to your help. Keep up the good work.

  • Hey this is a great video if you've had a chance to use LSDJ often! i didn't know how to use the tables, now I do! Thanks!

  • Just want to say to everyone that i will make a new tutorial with speech next time in a near future. So be expecting it. I´m sorry for the inconvenience!

  • I don't know what everyone else is talking about. This was very helpful for me. The only criticism I can offer is at some points you go to fast you need to slow down a bit so we can see what you are doing. But I using the time bar I got through it just fine thank you for the tutorial :)

  • @BugTrainerBrandon Thank you very much. I think ill erase this one and make one with speech. I don´t think my english is that good though but i will try!

  • kimmoto, were can i get one of these please? x

  • i have been on lsdj for ten minits os so and i understand everything apart from when you change the numbers exept thes phase or chain stays the same how do you do that?

  • how exactly is this a tutorial?

  • When you edditing the first intrument then went back and made the "C 3" into "C 6" and then played it, it sounded so much diffrent then what i hear from my Gameboy when doing exactly the same thing ? how come ????

  • how do you select or highlight all notes? :s

  • SELECT+B,B

  • how do you delete a note and how can you change the effect of each slots differently(in the area were you set sweep)

  • this didnt help at all. idk how to get from screen to screen

  • @ABUpStart Download the manual.

  • i've goggle searched the manual and couldnt find it

  • hold select/the button you are using instead of select and dpad. the "scpit" thing in the corner should now make sense :)

  • how did you copy the pharse @ 3:21? :(

i got the readme of LSDJ here but somehow i still do it wrong :/

  • grat video!!! thanks men xDD...

  • lol does this help

  • i never realised lsdj was set like a traker shouldent be too bad to get the hang of i produce all my stuff in renoise ::P

  • Looks a bit like Renoise

  • what is the best gameboy to make music on, color or original?

  • Original.. Better batterytime and (some say) better sound.

  • you just don't know what the fuck your doing

  • you're right, i don't. you are a man of obvious intellect. congratulate yourself, buy yourself some ben and jerries.

  • patience. sorry that this video aint helping you

  • If you have actually used lsdj at all you would know what he is doing

  • ive used it in attempts to attempt to make a beat, i just havnt had the luxury of knowing what the fuck is going on.

  • its great fucking difficulty to use LSDJ when all the tutorials out there are just people showing you how to make a tune, nothing to do with actually USING LSDJ, I've no idea what fucking keys anyone is pressing to navigate the menus (though easy to figure out) not a fucking clue how to even play the dam thing, I have numbers and "S's" everywhere WTF does it mean!?! I just want to know how to get the freaking thing to give me a tone, Ill figure out the rest

  • when i turn this video again and again...i dont understand...how to use lsdj demo on VisualBoy Advance emulator...thx b4

  • this video won't help you much, it's too confusing at first ,you're better off with a text tutorial. look for it on the web, there's plenty of them

  • alright, so this is a tutorial? there's no INSTRUCTION. WTF? thanks for 7+ minutes of fail.

  • try to read the manual first..

  • where

  • hey! nice tut.

can someone help me? i'm emulating lsdj on my pc with bgb, but i can't record my songs to mp3. how can i do it?

    thx

  • I'm emulating lsdj on a VisualBoy Advance that can record sound in .wav format, then use a converter to change the files into mp3. Should work fine for you too.

  • thx!!

  • use audacity and just record using the "What you hear" function

  • Its More Of A Visual Aid than a tuturial, still helps cheers

  • tutorials generally tell people how to do stuff...

  • i dont understand!

  • do u know how to get to live mode

and i cant get the kit section to work

  • select + left on the song-screen ought to do it :)

  • what do you mean with "select"?

  • i meant, what is the select key when on an emulator?

  • that depends on the emulator, but you can find it in the setup.

  • select as in the select button on the gameboy.

  • So all of this is done on a gameboy using lsdj?

  • All of this is done with lsdj on my laptop. But yes, you can do this on a game boy too :)

  • Suphei, I kinda copied mostly of your methods, but hei, I'm still new.

  • so useful. thank you.

  • you are welcome m8

  • Thanks a lot! One question, how did you select all the notes (ex. you selected all the Bass notes and moved them up a step)

  • Try combinations of select and b, I believe. If you google for lsdj copy/paste shortcuts, there's a couple of selecting commands that will do whole row, whole page, etc.

  • Dude don't be stuck up.

    Just help.

  • LSJ is easier than I thought, easier than normal trackers

  • LOLOL

how can you people understand this?

    its really confusing :\

but, henry homesweet makes really good music

    with gameboys :¦D

  • henry homesweet rox :D

  • where can i get this emulator?

  • I had a similar problem,

Pricks like this really didn't help much either..

Try and use different emulation software, if your using an emulator..

  • how the hell do u get them sounds? , i follow exactly what u did and instead of drum i get an awful beep , not even anything that sounds gameboy help plz

  • How did you select all of the note at 2:38?

  • i was wondering the same thing :\

  • Awesome! This will help me definitely! Thanks lol!

  • exactly what i was looking for, i was dumbfounded at the site of lsdj, this helped me heaps

  • where can i find lsdj cartridge??

  • Hey man thanks for this. Ive got teh basics down but i have no idea what you are doing with the wave table thing or the CMD thing. Is there a link you could give me which gives me a detailed description of the functions of these two aspects of LSDJ?

  • Oh sorry, i doing some effects and stuff with the CMD! i went to The maker´of Ldjs´s site and learned how to make those things! dont have the link right now but just write LSDJ in google and you will find the homepage!

  • Thanks Heaps!

  • You're amazing, Kimmoto! Thank you for the very informative tutorial. I'm trying to learn and this is very helpful!

  • decided to start writing chiptunes, this has been quite handy to teach me the ropes thanks kimmoto!
