  • Listen, Im 15 now but for my 1st car I want a 300C. American luxury & performance is my cup of tea. My parents for awhile had an 04 & 07 Honda Accords. They were as entertaining as the 2011 Superbowl halftime show. In contrast, I saw a new 300C at my local Chrysler dealer when we traded the Honda's in the showroom. I loved every square inch of it all & now it's my goal to get one if it means getting a job & piling up all of my money. I think Chrysler is making a comeback after many years :)

  • I think it's a great commercial but why do all these "breeze through history" type ads always skip most of the past 25 years? In this ad they go straight from the first Caravan (1984) to a brand new 300. The ad starts of with an Airflow (30s), then a WWII Jeep, a 1950-ish pickup, a 1960 Chrysler, etc. - every few years is represented

  • Bring back Lee Iacocca!

  • I work for a Dodge Dealership and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us! I love this commercial! Sniff Sniff!

  • Ohhh man I would love to have that Voyager!

  • Wow... this commercial brought tears to my eyes, absolutely brilliant and such a work of beauty, showing Chrysler's rich history as one of Americas finest automobile industries. This commercial definitely gives me hope to see Chrysler once again reclaim its rank among our nations car industries. Chrysler FOREVER <333

  • Srsly? Chrysler's claiming the success of the Willys Jeep? Pathetic, Chrysler. You didn't have Jeep until the 80s.

  • Chrysler > Ford, GM, Toyota...etc

  • This is a cool commercial. I like the Town & Country at 0:35

  • Finally some Chrysler commercials that show how awesome their past has been. I Love my Dodge truck, keep making the best!

  • I always found Chevrolet and Ford made good commercials, and Dodge/Chryslers always sucked, but now they seem to be doing alot better of a job, with less boring commercials. No more Dr. Z, blahh.

  • I've found that Dodge has done well on commercials. The focus group Caliber commercial was ingenious, the bathroom Durango commercial was epic, and the commercials for the Gen 3 Ram really made me want a truck that I previously hated. Also, who could forget the commercials for the original Challenger, with the fat, mean-ass sheriff.

  • All right, Chrysler! Let's turn it around and make the BEST automobiles in the world! We believe in you!

  • @bdrufl GO CHRYSLER !

  • Liked the ad, hopefully Chrysler can turn itself around Keeping Jeep and Dodge trucks. Throw the 300c and Challenger in there too. But please no more seabrings or PT crusiers

  • How about a Charger coupe with a turbo Pentastar V-6?

Or a 300C and 200C coupe with the same kind of engine?

Drop the weight of the Challenger a little bit?

Honda offers an Accord coupe, yet there is no Chrysler equivalent.

Image goes alot farther than initial sales.

    Just ask Cadillac and Buick.

  • I would gladly sell my house, my kids and all my possessions to keep Chrysler afloat.

After seeing this commercial I wept for three weeks.

    Wept I tell you.

I bet the art director of the ad is an absolute tool though.

  • other than the caravan, you can tell that it's men travelling cause it's only one hand bag!

  • This is a great commercial!!

  • BTW, did anyone notice the M37 in the video with the Airflow? I travelled many miles with one of those, too. I can't help it, this ad wants to bring tears to my eyes.

  • Love that ad. My travelling companions have all been from Chrysler since 1971, when the first one came to my family. It was a '65 Fury III, which I managed to keep in the family until 2002. I own Chrysler products that range from 65 to 05. Hope in a couple of years to add a new REAL Chrysler, not some Daimlerized abomination. Charger or Avenger, likely. Since the day what WPC took over Maxwell, there has been a unique spark at Chrysler. Sergio has fanned it to a flame again.

  • whats this song CALLED

  • @CharlesmontKid It's by The Temper Trap and is called "Sweet Dispositions"

  • @CharlesmontKid sweet disposition by The Temper Trap

  • ToyotaforCorolla.. What a stupid remark to say when Toyota has recalls after recalls on everything they make.

  • @dallaspolo Toyota makes nothing but trash, recalls and many deaths from that comapny. They should be banned from selling in America.

  • @SuperiorChrysler8: Here comes the prejudiced, racist, ignorant Tea Bagger moron shooting of their mouth again, defending Chrysler by spewing racist bullcrap and pissing off those who own foreign cars! Don't you realize that you're doing Chrysler no favors every time you open your mouth? Don't you also realize that up until now, most of the people who own Toyotas/Hondas/Nissans/Hyundais used to own cars by the Big Three, and they stopped buying because their cars sucked? Think before you talk.

  • @Neville6000 Clearly you didn't think before making that rediculous comment, mabye because there is no thoughts in your head ? You don't know the first thing about cars, so don't pretend you do - this is quite obvious. Anyone who has respect for their country and themselves would NEVER be seen in am import.

I guess thay means when I see all these imports, I know there are less people then ever who respect themselves.

You may think you look good, but trust me your the only who who thinks so !

  • @SuperiorChrysler8: And you, of course, know EVERYTHING about cars, based on your knowledge of American muscle cars, and your hatred of Toyota/Hyundai/Nissan/Honda. Right.

BTW, I DIDN'T swear; I said 'bullcrap' not as nasty as-well, you know the word. You're still a chauvinistic Tea Bagger type based on the comment you made about Toyota being trash. As it is, the ONLY car I want from the big C is the Charger and the Challenger-and that's not saying much good about the company.

  • @Neville6000 Oh and when you use such language, it shows just how much education you have, grade 2 mabye 3 ? Toyota is responsible for many, many deaths that are unacceptable - two people I personally know, it will never be ok for those families again and the company should be deported back to japan, where they belong. Support your American companies, or GET OUT out of this country and move to japan !

  • @ToyotaforCorolla

    you're a cunt.

  • The image of that Dodge Charger careening around the street corner will resonate with any Chrysler enthusiast. Good imagery and the obvious highlight of the video. My only critique of the ad is the anonymous pick-up truck at :20. It's not as instantly recognizeable as the other vehicles in the video.

  • Hey daewootango,

You're really ignorant about the history of Jeep. The military was using the word "jeep" starting around 1937 to refer to a new recruit, not a vehicle. Thus predating the military contract by several years. Your GP explanation has been repeated so many times that people like you started to believe it was true.

The 70's "bank robber" shows what a MAN looks like who is driving a muscle car aggressively. You wouldn't know that with your eunuch, vegan Daewoo P.O.S.

  • @TailFinGary

I know enough about the history of Jeep to be sure that this ad won't bring shoppers back into their show rooms. So aggresive driving and behaving like a lout shows what a MAN looks like, does it? How much effort do u have to put into looking like a man? I'm already a man, I don't need any of that to prove it. You seem to have a reputation for putting your foot in your mouth, having had a comment already deleted. For your information, I drive a Chrysler product. Moron.

  • Honestly, when the Charger showed up, I almost yelled "Oh YEAH!"...lol

  • Thanks for the coke, dad!

  • Of course the Charger steals the show. I found myself subconsciously waiting for it as I began watching the spot for the first time...

  • :30 Plymouth Fury in traffic! Yay C-bodies!

  • :DDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I sure do hope Chrysler comes out of this hole shining. I am a mopar fan by heart and the past decade has been dissappointing minus a flew glimmers here and there. The new Grand Cherokee looks promising and the 200C as well, hopefully they're signs of things to come.

  • hey guy ! I am living in france, i drive a Jeep and i cant understand why so many americans buy japanese cars or worst german cars !!

    Chrysler for ever !!!!!

  • I forget to say that you have the best cars of the world !!

Dont forget them when you buy one.

    Thanks

  • @gillesssssss : I'm agree with you ! I'm Italian and I've a PT Cruiser ..... wonderful and funny car .... better than european cars ...... all the same !

  • Yeah! my brother just bought a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, it's wonderful, I will compare it to his previous car a Mazda B2600, the jeep has twice as much power, 3 times better fuel economy, sounds great, looks much better, more interior space and beautiful mercedes like interior (from that time) then the Mazdas ugly hard grey plastic, the jeep is MUCH more comfortable and tha last and biggest point is proably that Jeep IS awesome offroad!

  • my uncle had a '91 boxy cherokee, rode well, but crashed at last. its one of the best car he has driven(but now he drives a mazda 6 sedan) lol.

  • Dodge Charger RT!! W00t!!

  • Excellent commercial. I love Chrysler, always have and always will. If you saw my driveway you would understand.

  • I completely understand :)

  • I like it. Plus it has a Grand Wagoneer in it, making it an instant win in my book :)

  • That's not true. They have a new Charger, 300C, 500, and Grand Cherokee for 2011 along with two new engines and various other updates/refreshes on existing cars and minivans. This is all in the five year plan.

  • Yup, the new Pentastar V6 is looking very promising. 100% new engine with the latest and greatest tech.

  • And hopefully turbo power too :)

  • The couple of years of no new products was started by Daimler then really cemented by Cerberus who purchased the company in 2007 and halted almost all new development. This was well before any gov't involvement.

  • Great commercial, I especially like the 1960 Chrysler 300F @ 0:22. That's when cars were rolling pieces of artwork.

  • What, no M1 Abrams? Isn't that a Chrysler product?

  • Great commecrcial, thanks for posting it. Chrysler has had some rough roads to go through but every single car in the add was an American Milestone car. They have some of the most valuable collectable cars out of the detroit 3.

  • Loving the old Jeeps.

  • much better than the "my name is ram" garbage.

  • Grand Wagoneer FTW!!

  • love the 300f, what a beaut :)

  • This add uses THE TEMPER TRAP "SWEET DISPOSITION" song. their album is great!!!

  • I've been trying to figure out who this is for awhile. I love good bands I've never heard of. Thanks for sharing.

  • YEAH! Full Size Jeep!!!! bring them back.

  • The 80's all the way to the early 2000s, Chrysler's brands were doing so well.

I hope that the new partnership with FIAT will bring them back to that height, and possibly even higher!

The corporation that invented the minivan should strike back, since the Japanese offerings are outselling everyone else.

  • the kid goes straight for the thing in his dad's bag and ignores him, lol

  • Long Live Chrysler!

  • rallyforone- u probably heard this song on the movie "500 days of summer" :) maybe...

  • @nismo2323: The business plan Chrysler came out with details the means to solve those problems.

  • god bless america and chrysler

  • Good commercial. Won't change many Honyota sheep peoples minds about buying one but who am I to judge if they wan't to have boring ugly cars instead of something great. Go Chrysler!

  • Before , in he 80's and 70,s and earlier. Our main goal was to get licenced and drive as early as posible.Drive something with a v-8, possibly, with some braun and character. Today's car buyers are stuck on their computers, gadgets,Wi's, and so on. They don't have the desire nor the time to buy a car and fix it up, and just go cruising. They want the cheapest, most dependable car out there. They don't care WTF it looks like, or were it is made.I had a 70 Roadrunner.Best car I had...........

  • True, I am from that gen (born 92') I prefer a car with style, something old or american or old american.

  • yeah, most important is car itself(of coursr, must getan AC), and rides well

  • @2000boxter: Mostly because they DON'T GET PAID AND CAN'T SAVE like they used to-have you noticed how low most salaries are, and that America's in a recession? Also, up until recently, Chrysler wasn't making cars that attracted people or were reliable-Honda, Toyota, and Nissan were, which is why most (young) people buy Hondas or Toyotas and customize them (check out The Fast And The Furious to see what I'm talking about.) Better yet, read The End Of Detroit and get a REAL clue.

  • @Neville6000 What's that got to do with my comments about milestone cars, and a great comercial?Absolutely nothing....Have a good one..

  • does anyone know the band/song in this advert? i've heard this song before but can't remember the details on it.

  • Name of the song is "Sweet Disposition" but don't know the artist.

  • Comment removed

  • The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition

  • Thank you!

  • just more reason for me to buy a jeep

  • very nice ad, some really nice cars. Maybe should show them off a bit for what they are? As in, they are purpose built vehicles, like a pick up > would have tools, or the charger would maybe be a bit more "aggressive" on the road around a corner?

  • Awesome ad! *looks forward to travelling down many more roads*

  • Great! Happy Holidays Chrysler!!

  • Nice.I love the Airflow at the beginning

  • me to and how the show a 300 in the end in the same color
