These are sport bikes that are meant to be revved in this manner. They're specifically designed for the race track (with lights attached to make them street legal). You do not have to baby these machines. These machines are dangerous beasts for real MEN!

all ducatis have a dry clutch (or at least all i know of) inline fours have wet multidisc clutches, i no ducs have a dry clutch my dad owns a 900ss and we have just replaced the clutch plates
