It seems to me that the developers of this game lose authority/credibility by putting out these clips of themselves talking about the game in a very informal way. It portrays them as being just regular guys :P And that makes me question their ability to do their jobs right for some reason

The lore there mean sobs in game there a joke of a tank hatred fails badly since its not the same as the grudge systerm.
They need to spend to much to gain minor gains unlike there mirror tank that gets massive bonus to tanking and or damage based on build with out spending any.
If you play the game you would see howuderpowerd they are when you compair them to the in game mirror or lore as there weak and easy to kill.

@KnightWhoSpamsNi how is war now i started playing about 2 weeks after release and played about 6 months. end game was junk. i didn't mind the lvl'ing grind , it was kind of fun. and i think one thing war needed was a 3 rd realm, like dark age of camelot, also by mythic (for those that don't know) and yes Daoc is still alive. all the servers are merged and 2k players on busy days. the rvr zones are packed
@avelloch end game's still junk. But skaven are getting added as a playable race. Also, don't expect much out of that because EA has long since fired the majority of the staff at EA Mythic.

@JustAnOldJunky For a BG to do more than lol damage it needs to use hate points problem is the attacks cost quite alot and apart form crimson that needs to crit for good damage the attacks all suck.
To tank you need to hold your hate points but you still need to spend them to become some what tanky and even with full hate points you are the weakest tank on the field.
I should of made it clear i ment in game as game wise there nothing like the lore apart form in looks.

The truth is, If one understands their mechanic, and I mean really understands it, it is the best tank. Because it is very customizable. I have tried both BG and IB and one is really not superior to the other, U just have to know how to use them.
Their shit in the table top game and I expect their shit in this aswell, the muscle of the dark elves is pretty much the executioners. Even they are pretty weak, dark elves are only decent at long range, magic and arrows are what their good for.
Too bad the mirror class Ironbreaker is about twice as good as the blackguard.
Blackguards sound like a cool idea and concept, but they DON'T deal out tons of damage, they DON'T take forever to kill and they DON'T look as cool as you might think.
Those 3 things around only things moderately relevant things he mentioned. He failed to note that they are meant to be magic tanks with bonus to magis resistance, but actually are horribly broken and next to nobody plays them because its mirror, Ironbreaker is godly compared to Black Guard.
This video embodies what the Black Guard SHOULD be. Right now the Black Gaurd is one of the worst RvR tanks in game; though i'm fine with that since I play them for, as he said, dealing tons of damage. So far far we're fine on the "biggest badass weapons" parts, we're decent on the "phenominal amounts of armor", but we're not doing so well on the "extremely dangerous" or "really hard to kill" aspects. Dispite our constant nerfs... we continue. You know why? Because we're cool, sexy, and badass!

Don't worry, Paul (The guy in the video) is there to explain and try to sell it to those who don't understand 'geek speak' so to speak. Many other videos have Paul talking and then one of the other members explaining it in better (Less hyperactive) detail.

yep there is no best class it all depends on how you play unlike wow in wow like a paladin can dominate all the other classes.... but black guard is my favourite out of all the classes
