to all the silly critics - Somers never said "don't see a doctor" or "do it my way". She is merely publicizing the fact that there exists alternative treatments that work for some people. Her main point is that you will never hear about these from an oncologist. That is absolutely true. I have been helping my in-laws battling cancer for over 6 months and have met Dr Gonzalez and Dr Burzynski in person. They are brave + brilliant men who have helped many people in their lives. You have no idea.

She may not be a doctor but she has the right to research and educate herself and use her own critical thinking skills to figure what is best for her, I think people are growing weary of these so called authorities with poor track records of success in any are wether it be Healthcare,politics or science.
