That's the original tang band w8-670q sub with the original rubber surround, and with no logitech logo. They should use these in the z-2300 sub.

wow, so logitech have used the same 8" drivers since 2001 or 2002, and the same 10" driver for the z-5500 since 2004!

And I like how Logitech didn't put their logo on this one, so it looks similar to an early z-560 sub (the later z-560 subs, and all z-680, z-2200, z-2300, and z-5500 subs have the Logitech logo)

I just bought the Z-cinema and am quite disappointed with it's sound quality. I have a Klipsch 5.1 computer sound system and although the Klipsch is more powerful and has dual 8 inch subs, I still was expecting good bass from the Z-cinema's sub. Not so. It fails to register the deep bass notes that the klipsch effortlessly produces. It's like the Z-cinema is designed to give up below 60hz because it just seems to buzz through anything below the 60/50hz notes. I'm sending mine back.

I've read lots of reviews saying that the Z cinema are too low in volume and that the subwoofer as very little bass. Also that it is no where close to 180 watts RMS and that you have to reboot it 3 times a day? Is this true?

noway. clearly it is not an absolutely high end sound system but in my opinion its loud enough, has strong bass and awesome soundquality. and i don´t have to reboot it 3 times a day... its a very good sound system!

i prefer the z cinema, its has much better sound quality and enough bass, cause you can turn the bass up. ;) believe me, the bass is good. [=)

lol, I've just realized something, the box looks 100% the same as well. But the sub is 4 ohms :P (z-2300's is 8 ohms)

Just one question, it uses USB, right?

the quality is VERY VERY good and it looks great, the remote control is cool, too. i bought it for only 99 € great sound quality !
