I loved my '87 Escort GT. Not a fast car, but good zip and very nice handling for a $9,500 car! Never raced it, but it served me well for 12 years and 165,000 miles without a major breakdown. Still ran when I donated it.

@lowkeygt True enough! Although 110 out of an 4 banger was indeed a big deal back in the late 80's.
