If you guys dont want to lose your sheilds, than the best option is to not lock onto your enemies. Another strategy I use is avoiding as many enemies as possible.

In the gamecube version everything is backwards because link is actually left handed. They switched the game for wii since you use your right hand for the sword. :]

well, my sheild got lost in the goron mines i think lol, but you can use the original one, but if it gets burnt then your screwed :L cos you wont have a sheild..but if you get the other sheild, that should be okay :). i've nearly finished the game, without a sheild.

u have to go back to that village thing & it'll tell u to go back to where u originaly started from (dunno what it's called, the bit where u first start the game) & u have to go to the mayor & he'll teach you how to kill the gorons etc and then you have to tell all the kids mums&dads that there kids are safe & then u go back to the village & you get the sheild from the general store & then you go back to where that Goron is & use the things the mayor taught u x

He's left-handed in the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess too, along with every other game in the series. Most people are right-handed, so everything in the Wii version of TP is mirrored.

I think its "Hyrulian Shield" but maybe it isn't meh don't blame me if i got it wrong I'm only ten you know but i have played A LOT of link games my favorite two are ocarina of time and windwaker but I'm loving twilight princess and phantom hourglass is pretty cool i have a special addition of ocarina my set has two disc's in it one is ocarina of time master version (the one my brother plays) and the other is ocarina of time (PLAIN) so yeah its fun oh minish cap was okay not great

The Gorons have always been (since i was 4 when Ocarina of Time came out. Im now 15) my favorite race. (They always seem to be the most friendly and trustworthy.) I loved in ocrina of time when Darioius (or what ever his name is) YOU KNOW THE FIRE SAGE!!! Became Brother's with link and helped him rescue all gorons from Fire temple. They have and stil remian my favorite.

this is interesting, everything in the wii version of this game is totally backwards...for isntance, when you enter the mines that has lots of stairs, the stairs were on the right side, not the left.

The reason is with the wii, you swing link's sword using the wii-mote. Most people are right handed but link has always been left handed. So instead of changing his handness, they just flipped the entire game. Kind of weird.
