  • Great video and playing! I'm sold on the T1 and the R1 after watching, might do the H1 but am not sure if an audience will be weirded out by it when it's me solo acoustic. Hands down the best demo I've seen of this product. It sounds like it mostly produces accurate harmonies but I noticed a few notes it chose were minor when they should have been major. Do power chords throw this thing off? Also- what guitar are you playing? Love the steel string sound.

  • Hi! Out of curiosity, does this pitch correct your voice as well?

  • Yes! Great Tutorial. Makes me get this thing! You´ve chosen very cool songs too! Thx man!

  • im glad someone who can sing is demo-ing this pedal

  • Sounds great!! I'm considering getting one, but I'm just wondering if it would work with my digital piano as opposed to a guitar? I play guitar as well, but I play piano primarily and sing lead(just need harmony in a lot of songs I do)..

  • If i have a budget for two of these voice tones gadgets. What would you advice to buy first. this would be just for karaoke setup.

  • @greateranticipation if I'm understanding you correctly you're asking if its possible to output all three sounds through one input: I'm afraid not. The vocal and harmonies come from one output, and there is a 'through' for the guitar. This, to be honest, seems to be best for most situations. The only option I'd really like to see is only harmonies through the output:no dry vocal, regardless of effect on or off. That way you could mix the harmonies at the engineers end.

  • @MrMikeAshelby Alright, thanks Mike! And yes, you understood correctly :) I guess I'm going to need a separate unit for the guitar then, which is fine. This pedal sounds great!

  • Hi Mic! Is there any way to combine using harmonies with the guitar and the microphone with the H1?

Also would it be possible either one off if needed?

  • @GreaterAnticipation Lol I meant *Mike, not Mic xD

  • great job, Mike. Very instructive. I use a very basic set-up (guitar, amp + mike) but this H1device seems like a nice addition to my act. By the way, check my video up (the one named "Miami Wedding Singer". I think you'll be surprised what I do with just nylon, wood and vocals.

  • Good job man- I think I´m gonna go for voicelive 2. Havye you used it ? Do you like it?

  • Thanks. Are you only using one pedal. I see you adjusting two.

  • @dotsunmoon Hi. Sorry for the slow response. I've been gigging crazy this season - and loving using this pedal. The other pedal that I switch on and off is the R1 reverb pedal. It just means I don't sound like I'm in a cave when I'm speaking ;)

  • Can this pedal be used for recording? I mean, can I plug my condenser mic into the pedal, then run the pedal into the computer? This sounds great man...nice job.

  • @bobbything You certainly could use it for recording, but to my understanding, it doesn't work as a soundcard. As such, you'd need a soundcard, and plug the output from this into an input on the soundcard.

  • How do you set up the chain then? Into the PA or the pedal board? I'm very intrigued to see how it's set up.

  • @DeadWhiteButterflies Hi. Sorry for the slow response. So, my chain is pretty straight forward - and goes left to right as you look at it - T1 (tone pedal, levels things up nicely), H1 Harmony Pedal, then R1 (reverb pedal, make it all sound lovely). In this video my acoustic is coming out of the bypass on my tuner pedal. This means you can mute the acoustic signal as running to the PA, and still use the guitar chords for creating harmony. I do this live for some tracks I don't play guitar on.

  • Thanks for the reply Mike. I bought one and tried it out and it seems to work playing a backing track through (see my video-i overdid it a bit but it was my first try!)

  • @Hannover1980 Cheers man... I blame the combination of old strings and poor microphone for the guitar!

  • Thanks for the great video its made me decide to buy one! Just one question- can i run a mp3 playback track through instead of a guitar?

  • @BILLYGO44 Alas, I think that this isn't possible on this pedal, but as I'm aware, there's one of the other pedals that will! I might give it a go anyway - see how robust that algorithm is!

  • I enjoyed this demo very much, in fact it's one of the better demos of these pedals I have seen. You have a really good voice and the TC pedals compliment beautifully. I really like the Harmony setting you used with your voice ( 2 ABOVE ) really sweeeeet. I presently use the Digitech Vocalst Live 4 and love it but these singles may win me over to TC's side. I hope you will do more videos using these pedals will love to hear a full song. Take care!
