@AKSailing Hi AK Sailing, Will here. The radio gear including transmitter all comes with the kit. The Radio Gear is the HiTec Ranger 2N Radio set with one 311 servo for the rudder and one 322 servo for the sails. This has proven to be a very reliable set and the radio is full power and has a very good track record. We have used hundreds of these radios with no problems. Feel welcome to call me if you have any questions at 1-800-206-0006. Happy Sailing,
..i wanna make an rc sailing ship, but im not realy sure what kind of ship to model it after..i see a lot of schooners on youtube and i was wondering if those were easier to sail?
It's very easy to sail, as easy as any sloop, all the sails move in unison. One stick on the controller has no springs or return so you can trim your sails (in unison) anywhere you want and let go of the stick, the sails will stay right where you want.
When they say this comes with everything, is the remote included in that kit? Is the remote good quality?
