Dear Ralph- In 2000 I supported you. I went to meetings. I took days off from work and lost pay. I went door to door with tons of campaign lit. & spoke on your behalf. I was a poll watcher and almost closed the poll site due to corrupt republicans.
You're a great guy. Unfortunately, you've been VERY wrong.
If Gore was elected, there's NO WAY in hell, we'd be in the current mess. There is a HUGE difference between Obama & McSame.
Believe me. Obama is going to be a great president.
Keep going Ralph! Over 3 million democrats voted for Bush. Ralph didn't get 3 million votes total in 2000. Stop blaming Ralph and start blaming the Democrats for Bush!
the funniest thing is that ralph nader is talking about fuel efficient cars and alternative energy in 2000, when now we are in an energy crisis. Nader had it right then and he predicted the corporate mess that is currently sinking america. why do we do this to ourselves, why do we insist on doing this to ourselves. enough of the two parties. wake up people this country will collapse at this rate.
The fact that anyone has to ask if Nader is running this year is frightening. Its frightening because it shows the efficacy of the PR techniques used this term. Obama is smarter than Bush.. Big deal. He's black & acts like Kennedy. See through this. What are his actual policies? Really? Um.. ahh.. "GOOD HEALTH CARE!".. Ah.. "END IRAQ WAR".. Is that it?! Is that all you want from a candidate? A president can do so much; a real overhaul is needed - REAL change. That means the above and MUCH MORE.
Maverick patriot Ralph Nader's Dr. Phil appearance got pushed back to Oct. 3. Friday Sept 26th Ralph Nader scheduled to appear on Bill Maher!!! Note: This will be after the McCain/Obama/Bush anal flutter corporate sponsored monoparty debate. Thank you kindly.
"It looks like he has Bell's Palsy." RonPaulAholic, you've just demonstrated the shallow method by which most sheeple choose their candidates...looks. That's how Obama got where he is, that's why McCain chose Palin as his veep candidate.
If people understood that the naturalistic fallacy results if one refrains from voting with one's conscience, then Nader would be president today. When moral dimensions enter into one's decisions such as when one votes, then by definition there is no such thing as a wasted vote if you vote with your conscience.
RALPH NADER is a dark horse candidate. He is always put in place to pull votes away from the democratic party. ALL Puppets. Both the dem and repub parties are controlled by ZIONIST lobbies. There is NO democracy. It's all a farce. The sooner we realize this, the better off we will be. ONLY a revolution can take this country back, and we didn't stand up for him.... Ron Paul. Look at WHO HE IS and HIS TRACK RECORD IN CONGRESS. AMERICA SCREWED UP. Now go back to mindlessly watching T.V.
The one main reason I would not vote for Ralph Nader is his pro-abortion stance. Other than his upholding the law, I don't understand his support of abortion-especially above 12 weeks considering all the scientific data. Mr. Nader is unquestionably a humanitarian and activist force for good. My question is how can he miss the least able to defend themselves against the total assertion of self-interest? The stance on upholding the law, as well as the upholding of life, is never wrong.
I just watched this movie last night-rented it at NetFlix, and found it to be very good and informative. Ralph Nader is an interesting man, and I admire his determination and committment. I see from watching the movie "An Unreasonable Man" that Nader borders on being brilliant, and the people around him simply don't get it.
We have to keep spoiling elections until the Democratic Party realizes that they have to A). move back to the left and compete for OUR votes (instead of moving farther to the right to compete for votes that they will never get) and B). embrace run off voting, TRUE DEMOCRACY. If the Democrats would have done EITHER of these things, they would have won every election of this decade.
It was the DEMOCRATS in the House and Senate who voted for the war. It is the DEMOCRATS who continue to vote for war apropriations to the tune of billions. If they had any spine, any backbone, there wouldn't be a war.
Obama still wants to fund billions for the war.
He has not given any indication of a withdrawal from Iraq any time soon. He just talks about how he is going to "refine" his policies in the Middle East.
Type in "Matt Gonzalez on Democrats and the War" for a deeper analysis.

If enough people request Nader, the likelihood of him appearing will be high. Perhaps we could also persuade the LKL produces to host an unofficial one-on-one debate between Ralph and one of the major candidates or an advisor for one of the campaigns.
All it takes is a few seconds of your time. What have you got to lose? Even if you find the debate idea to be unrealistic, it doesn't hurt to try.
I left Mobile, AL to go to S.C. just to try and to Nader on the Ballot, now I am doing this in Alabama. All for free, can you people putting Nader down say you are willing to use your vacation time to do this. If everyone was more involved this would be a better country.
I guess I owe Ralph Nader a THANK YOU for saving my life. In 1995 I was in an car accident where my car was totaled. The only thing that saved my life was God and my seat belt! I walked away from it. I want to thank Ralph for doing what is right for the citizens of this country and staying steadfast in his beliefs. In fact he is the only "medicine" that can cure what ails us. He is the only one that is out there that knows the definition of DEMOCRACY!!
this documentary is great. but so sad that his own followers turned against him after the 2000 election. Michael Moore is a pathetic example. Just shows that they truly dont understand Nader's principles or they are just interested in being associated with something popular. when that popularity wains, they abort the mission. They have no principles.
dude we have bush as president. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH BAD SHIT THIS GUY IS DOING. I BET ON MY LIFE THA AL GORE WOULD NOT GO TO WAR IN IRAQ AND WOULD HAVE REFORMED HEATH CARE. SO WHATS WORST BUSH KILLING US OR AL GORE GIVING US SOME HEATH CARE WITH LITTLE BIT OF CORRUPTOIN! COMPATED TO BUSH's making money on war!
After 9/11 Al Gore would have had no choice BUT to go to war in the middle east. He would have bombed Afghanistan and when his poll numbers dropped he would have gone after Iraq or Iran. Al Gore would have had horrible approval ratings for allowing 9/11 & not finding Bin Laden. Post 9/11 the country would have clamored for a warhawk interventionist who made the country "feel safe".
To complicate things: Joe Lieberman - a neocon in left clothing -- would have sabotaged Gore's presidency.
12% of registered Democrats in FL voted for Bush in 2000. There were also voters who were disenfranchised. 94,000 were misidentified as convicted felons. These voters were overwhelmingly Democratic. But, don't take my word for it, look it up. Here, let me get you jump started.

Remember John Kerry?!?!? (Oh yeah, what happened in 2004? You gonna blame Nader, too?)
The Democrats, & Barack, have voted time and again to fund billions to fund the war!
do you remember gore's platform? do you remember gore's statements about saddam? gore said we'd pursue saddam until he's gone. he would have NOT gone to Iraq? Nader wouldn't have for sure. You didn't vote for him. What has Al Gore given you that Nader hasn't? Shame on you whoever you are. You're the reason democracy doesn't work. You can make it work. Vote for Ralph Nader.
Gore didn't fight hard against having the presidency STOLEN from him. Laying blame elsewhere is shameful. He could have made a LOT of noise - but he didn't. Blaming Nader is missing the point. Moreover its an acceptance of the "lesser of two evils" fallacy. That means its stupid.
Unfortunately I was one of the people that fell for that in 2004. Like many, I thought "The stakes are too high, the Bush administration is too out of control, we've got to win." So I voted for Kerry. Kerry is a good man, but he was very far to the right of my politics, and my vote for him was a defensive vote. Never again will I be fooled. NEVER AGAIN.
