Hell yeah.

Maya Deren films are amazing. Especially when juxtaposed with the music of Sonic Boom. Wish he used these films at the Studio B, Brooklyn show. By focusing on the film short, it actually places the emphases back into the music and vice versa.

hey i was there! wish he played more songs but that's oka, the cover of the kraftwerk song was quite nice. i'm pretty sure those are maya lin shorts; i remember trying to get a copy of her films but couldn't find it on either dvd or vhs. pete needs to come back to la as sonic boom and play more old stuff
