What the jerk didn't say is he was probably teasing the dog when it bit him. Or playing that game where you jump your neighbors fence that has a pitbull and try to jump back over b4 the dog gets you. I think he's lying; if a pitbull "attacked" his ankle there wouldn't be much left.

Try My RPOCSA instead... its non-breed specific, it covers ALL dangerous dogs, and could actually create a profit center for the city INSTEAD of a $803K (+) deficit annually.

"Dangerous Dogs???" NOPE, my American Pit Bull Terrier is a Therapy dog; it's NEVER THE DOG AND ALWAYS THE OWNER!!!!!!! We have 3 and live in a very upscale neighborhood and my neighbors got together via invitation to a "get to know Dzyl day" and they love our dogs and they are so happy we have them. In fact they're words were "wow they are so much better behaved than our small dogs" my Pit is afraid of our cats, and my neighbors tiny mean yap yap dog. BAN BAD OWNERS NOT A BREED.

Ignorant people would do something stupid like banning the breed. Coco looked so cute! Why put down such a sweet dog who is innocent?!

@gir908922 You are right on this one! The City Council, Mayor and Animal Control Director are just on power trips. The ban has not stopped residents from owning pitbulls. I think Carla's plan makes sense. I am concerned that the city is trying to become Geztapo with their plans. Pitbull lovers must stick together and vote these POSs out of office.

Why would they have to be muzzled in public if they go through temperament testing? that is the only thing that didn't make sense to me

Ya, I don't like that either but if I lived there and Thank God for me and my Pit that we don't but I'd rather do that than lose my baby; mine is my therapy dog and would be so confused with a muzzle he'd be like "hurrr what okay mom if you say so"
