Well, the new KITT was a Mustang! And since I posted this, my car has been completely converted to the New KITT...including a 34" wide hood scanner. I will have to post a new video!
Putting KITT's scanner in the grille is a neat idea visually. Did you just have to take off the grille and attach the light or was it a more involved process?
Actually it was simple, the grille just pulls right off. But I took off the radiator plastic shroud to allow access. But since about 2 months ago, I did a complete redo, and added the entire Shelby GT500 front end, and the proper GT500KR hood with a custom made light. Looks just like KITT now.
Did you put it behind the grill..? I have an 08 and want to know how ppl put those on there. Ive seen some that put it in their hood scoops. But I like the scanner :)
@lasmith931 it's a roush black billet grille. I got one on my gt. They are great!

No, I made KITT from a V6 Premium. Just sold him for $18k and purchased a 2011 Mustang GT

this scaner is very small ... i got the big one exactly like the one in the 2009 movie ... i got them for sale .. they come in red or blue
