  • David Icke is no more delusional than your average Christian.

  • I am paranoid shizophrenic and I feel motivated and happy. I was just looking into David Icke as well. I am getting to the point where I am starting to belive my delusions. I find them interesting. Personally I do take the meds though to keep the voices from happening.

  • Mel, this is an excellent and educative video. :)

  • David Icke believes in millionaire status, selling biiks, dvd's and sending his daughters to private school. However after the queen Mum died I did see Prince Charles wearing snake skin shoes, makes u wonder eh?

  • David Ike has a wife and children to look after his clothing and other needs and to give him pointers and support on that. Even if he does his clothing himself he still has their support in one way or another. What would he be like without them though?

What would David Ike be like without a wife and children? And yes of course what would he be like without his organisation and supporters.

Very cogent and coherent video, Mel.

  • I think you're right for the most part particularly regarding David Icke. He seems like a well organised person and functions normally in society.

  • I think though that there are exceptions to schizophrenics lacking organisation abilities.. For example, renowned mathematician John Nash is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic yet he is a relatively organised individual, at least regarding his ability to operate in his field and maintain his professional position. Although one might argue that if not for his wife he might well have ended up in a padded cell or forced to take anti-psychotic meds.

  • Mel, you're such a level head on this stuff.

Icke has been persecuted. The question is whether or not it's justifiable to a) persecute him, b) pity him, c) humiliate him, d) ignore him, or e) listen to him.

With me a) and e) are easy strike-outs. But the choice between b, c and d aren't so easy. He doesn't seem to shut up and go away, no matter which one we go with.

  • if people are having delusions as if they were under some sort of hypnosis wouldn't they become aware of that fact at some point in the future? when they snap out of it? but in the end i believe laughter to be the best medicine if at all possible.

  • Responses don't bother me in the slightest. I think David Icke has a lot of manic symptoms as well (thus claiming to be the son of god and writing all these books) rather than being catatonic or depressed. That's probably why he is able to function so well.

  • Search David Icke "The Lizards and the Jews". It is a good little documentary about David Icke and his beliefs. It shows he had a promising career as a sports announcer in Britain when he started hearing voices that were telling him he was the son of God and the world was going to end. He then went on television and delivered this message to the British audience. It ended one career and started another. Pretty fascinating stuff if you are interested in mental disorders.

  • Thanks for the info I will have to check it out. I am into conspricy theories and listen him and others like him. But if he really belives that he's son of God hes lost it.
