Sorry I disagree, and I like the droid (I have one), but the UIs are HORRIBLE on the droid, why? Because there is no consistency, all the apps look different. Thats like if you were on windows, and every app you used had different buttons, and different menus, pop ups etc, its especially bad when developers try and make the interfaces without designers, it just looks like ass in comparison to apples.

my brother sent me a link telling me to check these videos out. i just got my iphone 2 weeks again and i love it. maybe its just me but i think this interface looks really kiddy and cant even compare to a hacked iphone.

how? if you didn't know, this can be changed too. believe me, the last one will be much better, as it is a contest between many, many different designers for the android interface and programs. even if you don't like the standard, you just download another GUI and replace it.

The incoming call looked amazing. Everthing is beautiful.

Adroid was in testing long before Apple thought up the iPhone. Steve just brought the iPharse to market faster, too fast IMHO. Apple once again stole ideas from others and called it their own.

I think you will find that it would. All the technology and functionality was available in other devices before the iphone.

Why do people call everything iphone clones when iphone cloned all the touchscreen phones before?

I do have an iphone and I love it but I am all for companies trying to create better devices. At the end of the day the consumer will win even if google lose.

Well, i have to disagree the late thing, cuz when its done and shipped it will have like thousands of apps on the web (which u can easily download), im thinking about it like Firefox and its extensions

Sad but true people are blinded by hype that is the way marketing works and Steve jobs is very good at that.

He regurgitated the mp3 player as the ipod and now the touchscreen phone as the iphone.

I will show you how good he is..... He released a mp3 player with no screen and charged more then ones with a screen and ended up shifting more units then most manufacturers. The guy is a marketing genius!!
