  • About what month in the Spring do cecropia moths emerge from pupation? I have raised several Lepidoptera, and I am interested in getting Cecropia moth eggs.

  • Saw one of these huge moths flying near a streetlamp the other night. My friend thought it was large bat, until it came lower for a closer look. I've also found at another time the four wings lying separated on the forest floor, with no body attached. This time a bat was indeed probably the culprit, according to a lepidopterist friend.

    Your video is simply amazing. I also love the music which you chose, from Gustav Holst's The Planets. Cheers.
