this question is easy to answer. just because venus couldn't answer it, doesn't mean it's too hard or too difficult. This is almost the very same question they asked Ms. Trinidad and Tobago durng the 2004 Ms. Universe pageant. She also got 4th runner-up. Too bad this question was the hardest especially when you are under pressure (massive audience and time limit, etc.). Ms Raj I must say is a very elegant lady...

It seems to me that all Filipinos/Filipinas do not understand the question whatsoever. Venus Raj is a sophisticated beautiful pinay. If I'm not mistaken, she was born in India and came to the Phils when she was only an infant. Therefore she's considered a true filipina by culture. Majority of pinoys are mixed with different ethnicities (chinese, spanish, indians etc) and the real full blooded pinoys or indigenous peoples are now a minority.

Let's say she's never made any mistakes, or had any problems. That’s considered childlike; how can she represent the Miss Universe as a queen when she - herself is childlike? How can she be expected to mentor or be an example to anybody if she herself has no idea how to resolve mistakes or problems presented to her? It makes no sense to me. A queen is supposed to be a role model to others, but how can she be in this case?

It seems to me that all Filipinos/Filipinas do not understand the question whatsoever. In additon, all Filipinos/Filipinas didn't really listen closely to the question that was asked in the first place, and how it would of helped the contestant. The whole point of the question was missed, and the entire purpose of the questions was bypassed altogether. It also seems to me that Filipinos/Filipinas will never understand the good intention of this simple question. That is my 2-cents.

Venus Raj is a sophisticated beautiful pinay. If I'm not mistaken, she was born in India and came to the Phils when she was only an infant. Therefore she's considered a true filipina by culture. Majority of pinoys are mixed with different ethnicities (chinese, spanish, indians etc) and the real full blooded pinoys or indigenous peoples are now a minority.
