@speedevil22 I suppose as a walkthrough it is a little lacking, he shows some good tactics though. Beating Cletus is damn tough. I can't even remember how I did it the first time, all I recall is that he was a bitch to kill. Trying to cower behind those damn small display cases and hope the shotgun blasts don't hit you. I have no idea y they gave him the ability to heal himself, he's already one of the toughest bosses in the game.

I've seen gas stations that sold guns (in addition to fireworks and liquor).

Some malls have gun stores but they tend to be rare. It is much more common to see a gun store in a strip mall as one of the shops, than in an actual indoor shopping mall. But it isn't unheard of.

@breez098 those two things aren't important to what makes a good game. DR2's controls were way better, survivor AI was better, combining weapons adds more depth, the transciever was less annoying and the game itself is just bigger. There's also co-operative play and competitive multiplayer.

Found out another helpful secret, though I'm not sure if it's exactly a secret, but if you get to North Plaza as early as possible, he won't even be there yet. Get all the shotguns and snipers, go out of North Plaza, go back in, and he'll be there. Just do what's done in the video, this time with a sniper. You'll probably need a quickstep to get across the park, be a high 30-something level to be fast enough, and go right after you finish case 2. Beware of the time left for Kent's scoop, though.

I don't think many people know this, but you can actually get a shotgun quite early in the game. In the entrance plaza when the zombies first come in, actually. It's on the right side of the fountain where there's a bunch of zombies.
