dimm0k - Replacing the keyboard is quite simple.

emgizzy - Yes, the heat and prying process where he detached the front, cracked glass from the lcd screen is how you remove the digitizer, You then simply replace the digitizer with the new one and voila. Be very careful not to damage the LCD in the process of separating it from the digitizer, though. It can be quite stubborn.

Nice job! I have the 9930 with really soft BB and 'back' buttons where you don't hear a click at all when pressing them compared to my sister's where you do. Any ideas if replacing just the keyboard is enough to fix this?

ouch!!! I was just thinking about getting one, and only the idea of being on your shoes makes me very stressed. I would be shaking like if I had Parkinson or something similar hahaha. Any way you got good pulse and lots of cold blood. I like the video and if I need help in the future I'll call you to fix it for sure.
