@sm1th its an audio edit. alot of concert footage from many bands including your favorites (if they were recorded professionally) get chopped up and arranged into one track over the footage to get the best quality (according to the producers) for the audience at home.

trust me, john doesn't need an autotune for that note that was 'autotuned'. he can go much higher effortlessly

I agree with you mandrew. I just wanted to add an interesting anecdote. My Grandad has been a stream train enthuiast all his life, so I played the stop this train/heart of life/who says rhythm to him on guitar, and he said it sounded nothing like a stream train! Then again, he's after perfection, rather than just chugging (he wants to here the slips of the gears etc)!
