Just say for a moment that you are right and human induced Climate Change isn't happening. What is the real harm if we go ahead and invest in renewable energies anyway and it turns out we didn't need to? Who's going to die? Surely this is better than doing nothing and facing the consequences if you are wrong. So my question is this - Putting all the emotion and anger aside, what is the harm in playing it safe rather than sorry? What is wrong with being vigilant just in case?

@mikeyoneill81 Answer: If australia uses taxation to force polluting industry away, they will go to china and be given free reign to pollute as much as they want without control. Cost is australian jobs, and higher cost of living. We pay more for electricity. The benefit? We get to pay these new chinese steel mills to produce materials to make our new wind turbines, causing severe pollution anyway.

Look for the science, not the propaganda saying the earth is dying.

If you object to mitigation of CO2 & other GHG emissions, outline why, using sound evidence and modelling. @franb2222 Why mitigate a life giving gas? Face it; this story about "run-away" global warming has been dead for a while now. It has been proven to be a fraud with scientist colluding with each other for grants, big banks funding campaigns, and big oil on-board. Just look at how many scientist don't believe the scam for a second. Google 'global warming petition project' and 'the green agenda' for the hard truth. You won't get it from mainstream media.
