Anck-su-namun & Imhotep - Dream of me

I feel bad for Imhotep. And Anck-Su-Namun wasn't afraid to kill herself in the first film. Yes she knew Imhotep would bring her back but if she had the guts to do that, she obviously should have had the guts to save him. She should have said, "You die Imhotep, I die, we die together.". And he should have been in the 3rd film. They are making a 4th one and people are begging for Imhotep to come back so I don't know I think he might be.

personally, i think this movie has a really bad ending. there's no way anck-su-namun would leave him after the 3000 year love story and all. besides, they look really good together...the writers should have at least killed them off together.

I couldn't agree more! anck-su-amun said she didn't want to lose him ever again. It was the writers cheap version saying rick and evys love was stronger. Which in itself was ridiculous! I mean they loved eachother and still wanted one another 3000 years later.

that was the whole point.

Imhotep had always been in love with her from the start. She decieved the King, killed him to be with Imhotep, but there was no character analysis into Ancksunamun. Imhotep on the other hand risked everything to ressurect her, and suffered a cruel death, returning 3000 yrs later with the same love for Ancksunamun..

We knew HE loved HER, but really there was no proof of her love for him.

She didn't love anyone, she was only power hungry and selfish.
