Excellent video! I love when God uses trials to reassure us of his goodness and sovereignty. May God bless you and Kara mightily this Christmas season, brother.
This really reminds me of the story of Job. God placed restrictions as to how far satan could go. And as it says in Corinthians, we see things now as in a clouded mirror - now we know in part, but when we are with God, we will know in full. Asking why we have good times and bad times is like asking, why did He make the valleys low and the mountains so high? They simply are the way He planned, and in their beauty and simplicity, bring such glory to Him - as do you, Brother.
I experienced similar thoughts when I had my health scare about five years ago. I hope you're on the mend. It was so good seeing your wife get baptised in a recent video. God bless you David.
Amen - Satan can do nothing without God's permission - God bless you, brother!!! Keeping you in prayer....
