Arabs call this knowledge as Hindu knowledge as they know they took from India, but Europeans call them arabic as they took it from Arab. Islam has never done any discovery they just stole it. This is idotic. If you don't know the history then read first. In arabic the numericals that you are talking about is called Hindu numerals because it came from India. All these naming that you are talking about was stolen from India when arabs attacked them in 800 AD. The taksila in current pakistan was the biggest university for centuries and it was destroyed by arabs and these books and knowledge were taken to persia for translating.
