@ronpaul101789 omg no kidding i was wondering what the hell happened...i know that nick collins had a HUGE impact....but..i sure hope he gets better and will be healthy and with the packers next season. i have confidence that theyll fix it but i would really love to see some new talent brought in and to see collins back in with woodson. what do you think?
@brianrocks1231 I hope Nick gets better as well, even though nick injuries can be a bit dicey. What I want to see is a better pass rush next season. We didn't get ANY pressure up front thus putting a lot of stress on the secondary. Last season we got pressure AND our secondary played out standing. I am hoping for an 09' like draft when we got Raji AND Matthews. That would be epic.
@ronpaul101789 yeah i agree. our pass rush was terrible this season. i wanna see mathews and bishop sky rocket next season in sacks, and im thinking well see something new depending if capers is gunna be let go. ive heard he might get replaced and im kinda hoping so, we need to change a lot of things and start some things anew, and that could be excellent w/ a nice draft
do u know what it would have been so easy to have brian cushing, mathews lb's ray lewis and polunski lb's, with howie longs son kodmaki suh farley intrior lineman, maybe kerriegan de and ashmngda all pro cb , i would have micheal vich niks wr burress wr holt wr maybe long ot, even if i had to trade a all pro qb rb to do it id have this team my lat 4 years easy best defense all time so easy
it's has been 18 years since we seen 2 teams repeat in back to back SB's IT IS TIME for that too end 1 more time TITLETOWN vs. STEERLER NATION SB XLVI.
@ryanbizzy86 Just because it was the packers who won doesnt mean it was the biggest turning point in history I can name a dozen superbowls that had far bigger turning points than that one did. Actually almost every superbowl has something historic to it soo ya
This play was amazing he told picket before the snap to crash that side and create a lane and he made an outstanding play..one of the best players in the league right now.
I'm a Patriots fan, but I am bloody terrified of the Packers. They are fucking STACKED, and after 3 legit years Aaron Rodgers is already the 4th guy in Brady/Manning/Brees/Rodgers. And the only reason he's 4th (and not higher up) is because of his absurdly stellar receiving cast. Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson, Jermichael Finley...I wish Brady had one of those guys. All we have is Welker lol
@hypervortex91 and 2 of the best young tight ends in the league... i hate the patriots but dam Hernandez(go Gators) is unmatchable and Gronkowski can catch everything.... plus Branch may not be Jennings but nobody has a better relationship with understanding a QB and the offense he's apart of.... Brady's got plenty of weapons
@hypervortex91 And thats what makes Tom brady the best qb of all time tbh[i'm a cowboys fan] he's always had an average cast..except when he had moss...
@hypervortex91 Are you kidding me? You have 2 great tight ends and Donald Driver or James Jones is just like Branch, they contribute sometimes. And hes not the 4th. Hes the best of all time.
@hypervortex91 Ayy you guys have Hernandez and Gronk now! And the Pats made the playoffs, too bad the Packers defense sucks as well lol. All of our running backs were either undrafted or a 6th round pick.
@jan99gay Are you retarted? How can you say Clay didnt play good in this game?!? He had an average performance, but had the game changing forced fumble! That right there makes it a great game. You obviously dont know shit about football
@ThatWolfe so, if the best of all time gets beat by my Packers, what does that make the steelers for the time being??? let me answer that for you: NOT THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!! 13 TITLES BITCH!
@D1Champ08 lol typical cheesehead, bringing up titles that don't mean anything. I guess the browns 8 "championships" make them pretty great too. oh the lulz
@ThatWolfe yeah I guess Jim Brown really didn't play at the highest level of football. Get real, son. The Browns DO have eight championships. Stick to music, Dane, because you don't know shit about football.
I think that kevin greene said before everyplay to Clay that "It's Time" so that it seems like that it motivated him much on that ONE play. (note: Clay was'nt good in the game at all he only made this one tackle which happened to be a really big FF.) And this is from a packers fan. I really like clay but c'mon thats just stupid trying to make it dramatic like in some movie... But who cares its cheesehead's all the way to superbowl!
@jan99gay so it doesn't make sense that Greene is telling Matthews that "HEY! it is time (TO PICK UP YOUR GAME)"? are you that fucking ignorant? from one REAL Packer fan to another (fake) fan, use simple logic and avoid degrading an experience that you'll never personally experience. when you're in the heat of battle down on the field, it IS DRAMATIC! you're fuckin lucky enough to get to witness an ounce of the dynamics between a legendary player/coach and a legendary play in the making. stfu
@ghostdogmovies hah, no kidding, where's polamalu in all this shit? people knock on matthews in the SB (even though he forced the fumble of the biggest play in the game) but where the FUCK was troy? mr. defensive POTY? .....fail
Matthews was also Mic'd up..On the packers.com ..he tells the D in the huddle that the steelers are going to run towards him as "they just took a look at me"..Just before the snap he yells "Spill it Pickett"..and the reest is history
Greene was one of my fav LBs back when I was a kid, he was a beast. So cool to see him coaching my current fav LB and it's also nice to see him get a ring, even if it's as a coach.
The full video is at packers.com. You can see that BOTH Clay and Pickett caused the fumble. Kevin Greene steals the show however. "Everyone looks at Wood as the leader. He's gone. Nobody's (bleep)in stepping up and (bleep)in rallying the troops. It is time. It is time." Then after the play to Matthews: "That was awesome" cracks me up every time.
@bamgbpacker12 I've seen it many times, I own the DVD, the ball pops away from Clay. Also, during the game they showed other angles which show that it was Pickett's hit the knocked the ball loose.
It's not a total loss for Steeler Nation if one of the best pass rushers in Steelers history got a ring as their line backing coach. Winning 2 rings in the last 6 years makes the loss suck a little less too, but it still sucked. Gotta hand it to the Packers though, they really proved they were the best team in the NFL last season. Congrats from a Steelers fan. :)
@PITTSBURGHESE86 the reason the packers won. Rogers slide to the packers on draft day. packers trade up to get Matthews. higher new defence coaches . Kevin Greene is on the way up as a coach and i hope he stays in green bay a long time . K.G. was awesome as a player no wonder the steelers won so many S.B.
@Flozell2000 I think it's too early too judge for that. In my opinion I think Ray Nitchske is the best the linebacker of all time.Nitchske is the linebacker for the 1960s Lombardi's Packers. Not that I'm bagging on Matthews because he is a truely great clutch player.
@martback18901 Oh, I'm sorry, I was talking about Kevin Greene being the best of all time. More sacks than any other linebacker. He was unbelievable.
But I'll give it to Nitchske, he was a beast. and he kicked some serious ass. In the era he played in, those guys were truly tough guys. I can't say that he's not the best of linebacker. I'm just giving my vote to Greene.
With that blood line talent and work ethic no wonder hes the best in the game doesn't hurt having the old master kevin greene as his mentor either the best linebacker of his time teaching a thing or 2 to the best linebacker in the game CM3 IS THE NEXT KEVIN GREENE KICK ASS CLAY!
nice to see Kevin Greene a super bowl ring ,,,, since the steelers defense with greene did the job back in super bowl 30 on defense,,, but Neil O'Donnell threw the game
I like the Super Ball show, especially the music part! The sport part is too long, though. I think when you win hundreds of thousands like those guys, you shouldn't have to be reminded when it's time to go back to work. At least the hatless guy is following the game.
I really missed that defense this season. : (
