I have one going to community college and will possibly transfer and the other are interested in trades. No debt, just education!! One is going to go to school to be an engineer.

Why should people who's incomes are largely tied to investments contribute less as a proportion of income to taxes than say you or I, the working class. It makes no sense that Warren Buffet pays a less percentage of his income towards tax than a working class person.

When the government taxes businesses, investments are pulled and thrown into treasury bills to make money off of the governments spending and the businesses can't afford their workers. Unfettered capitalism has always and will always promote a winner-take-all mentality. It rewards those who will take advantage of their fellow human beings, and the rewards grow as the profits grow, and short-term profits grow when corners are cut – wages, retirement & benefits are cut, health & safety margins are cut, investment in infrastructure and education are cut, competition and criticism are cut, ecological sustainability is cut...only love is strong enough to combat this.

Why should people who's incomes are largely tied to investments contribute less as a proportion of income to taxes than say you or I, the working class. When the government taxes businesses, investments are pulled and thrown into treasury bills to make money off of the governments spending and the businesses can't afford their workers. Unfettered capitalism has always and will always promote a winner-take-all mentality. It rewards those who will take advantage of their fellow human beings, and the rewards grow as the profits grow, and short-term profits grow when corners are cut – wages, retirement & benefits are cut, health & safety margins are cut, investment in infrastructure and education are cut, competition and criticism are cut, ecological sustainability is cut...only love is strong enough to combat this.
