You must overcome the differences with the other albums. Garbage have always been artists and musicians, and they have not hesitated to change their style for every album and second their creativity and people inspiration, rather than the people's tastes. PLUS: How can you even compare Shirley to Britney? Their voice may sound similar in this song but Britney is not to be considered a musician.

Agreed. This song has really grown on me. Like most Garbage fans I prefer redheaded Shirley, but blonde Shirley is just as beautiful and talented. Plus, unlike Britney, Shirley doesn't need a dozen voice processors and a pitch-shifter to sing in key.

As a long time Garbage fan I was at first not in approval of Shirley's new image... but she still looked cool. Prefer her as the iconic red head rock chick though. Great song, a departure of sorts for Garbage but still has that air of brilliance about it as all their songs do. LONG LIVE GARBAGE.

Whaaaat? beautifulgarbage is such an underrated record from them. Maybe I'm just biased because it was my first from them, but I think they hit on something special with that album. This, Shut Your Mouth, Androgyny and Parade are all amazing.

There are a couple of ways which I can devise as to how the bodies were made transparent.

The bodies of the band members may have been covered in a colour tone which would of been removed and replaced with a pre-rendered background. Akin to the technique used in the green/blue screen method in SFX.

@jacktheripped I know... Breaking up the girl was for a long time my favorite song on that album (now I prefer Untouchable and Parade). Garbage is a very under-rated band IMO. I mean come on, Butch Vig is in this band! The producer of both Siamese Dream and Nevermind is just a regular member here. Awesome band... but I'm not the biggest fan of this song, sad to say.
