How do you like that guy with the suit pointing his cigarette for the drummer to get back on the stage? What a bad trip. Way to squash greatness as it occurs.
This is what we lived in our beatlemania. lots of us did not survive. Viv prince and here the pretty Skip Alan were playing what the modern mood shifts to the postmodern energie. And it is very clear for all the young followers: What means "hyper hyper" or any "scooter" more than the semi-detached-suburban? we know what it is ZERO and what means back to zero. What transzendence else? I thank this remarkable pretty musicians and this dovdrummer fpr the upload
Extraordinary footage. 1967 sounds right, although I'm not sure about the song. It's announced at the beginning as going to be on their next album, but no song called "Recarnation" or "Reincarnation" or whatever appears on either "Emotions" or "SF Sorrow"...perhaps it was slated for the next album but dropped when the storyline for "SF Sorrow" was born?
This must be around SF Sorrow period, because Dick Taylor is still there. And surely the song is called "Reincarnation"? Anyhoo, thanks for posting this, not much available from The Pretties from this era.
Which record is this song from and what year is this performance? It seems like it should be around '71 or so but I've never heard of this Pretties song before.
Man, this gave me faith in life again!

@mtopper66 Melodically this seems to be something that evolved into "Mr. Evasion" song (B-side of "Defecting Grey").
