If she sang opera she would most def be a contralto. Alto's are so versatile. We are the bomb!

@aprigirl 3:08 is a sustained high C, so I would say in opera she would be a mezzo soprano. Her opera voice is light enough to be mezzo and then her range and lyricism also are above what is usually classified as a mezzo. Of course in gospel, she is still an alto (based on her lower/normal voice) :-)

Whatever happened to the state-choir movement? You don't see them recording as much as they used to. Georgia, Florida, Alabama, DFW, Southern California and so on. where have they gone? I miss them. :(
