That means they have to distinguish between civilians and insurgents, and once a target is in sight, either eyesight or spotted on drones or satellites, it's up to the time sensitive targeting team to make sure that the civilian damage is appropriate to the target, whether it's worth it. By the time a strike is authorized, the target has often slipped away. Read the book "Running the war in iraq" by Jim Molan.

@samljer aare you fucking me north korea couldn't even get a nuke to work right all they can do is just make a cover up story and the war in korea wasnt one on one when we were so close to victory China stepped in and drove us back to where the wat had began and if you look at the comparison of back then and now the maps are very much the same most countries can't even fight one on one no matter how sophisticated their technology is

@lemob182 The Americans will send Electronic Warfare Planes first.They detect and shut down all radars in the area (by overflowing the system with fake signals) so the SAM cant target anything. Then they send the AWACS with Air Superiority Jet Fighters and Ground Attack Planes to take care of the SAM sites.
