  • i love the tone of this one.

  • It's amazing how good acoustic sound emulations modular synths can produce. Very nice demo.

  • loved it.

  • very nice!

  • MY GOD...I FUCKIN LOVE MODULAR SYTNHS!!!!

  • Wow! A sound sculpture. This is hauntingly beautiful...

  • brilliant

  • This is a beautiful sequence, thanks for sharing

    D.........:)

  • Your videos are great!!

    Good job man!

Thanks a lot for posting these!

  • That's a wonderful tone you've elicited from the synth. And a beautiful melody. Sounds like a room mic..I'd love to hear it properly mixed in high quality. Kudos!!

  • I'm commenting again because I like this so much. I swear I can hear the wood of that bazouki. Beautiful stuff. Maybe you can do other types of ethnic music when so inspired? I'm sure it would be great stuff.

  • good stuff 5/5

  • I love it.

  • Nice dude very nice.

  • Really nice Irish Bazouki sound (I play bazouki). The random quantized melody works perfectly. Very cool and inspiring!

  • Nice thanks for this, it shows the melodic potential a modular synth can provide. No offense to all the bleep and bloop videos of modular synthesis that most people make, but it gets old fast. I really enjoyed this! By the way, what oscillators are you using?

  • Very nice...............thank you for this video.

Always great to see some "normal" music coming out of a modular.

  • Brilliant patch.

  • WOW, your Electric Bill must be high. what an incredable piece. Well done. makes my tiny Casio VL tone sound like a budgies bell. Wonderful.> LOL .

  • Amazing sequence!!!

  • great work! I've worked with modular sequencers for a long time now, digital and analogue, and this is one of the most well-thought-out patches I've EVER come across. Good job!

  • beautiful sounds, love the melodies, usually dont hear such acoustic sounding stuff from modulars, but i love what you did with it. i would buy a cd if you had one of this kind of music, with some evolving analog textures behind it maybe =D cool stuff, thanx

  • So i have had a play with this footage and other random youtube vids, made it into something else. This original vid cant be beaten though :) Thank you for allowing me to play with your synth :D

  • amazingly jawdroppingly beautiful.

would love to sample this on a tune i'm making :)

  • Thanks, feel free to sample it.

  • Very good indeed. How great to hear such a mellow piece of music on a big modular like that.

I'm sorry to say it but i am going to have to have a go at something like this on my Digisound 80, and not just to sound like Tangerine Dream. Thanks.

  • Holy cow. Nice job.

  • Nice!

    I like musical sequencers.

  • I have a felling this synth is bigger than this video tells. Can we see the whole thing in a future video? Otherwise, I'm impressed by your efficiency!

  • The modular is bigger than the video shows, my studio is so tiny I cannot fit the whole synth in the video picture. The modules used in this tune that you cannot see are 4 VCOs, 3 VCFs & 1 VCA. I will video the whole synth in a future video.

  • I really love the sequence from the Q960. Wished I had composed it then I could make a song of it ;-)

  • the most elegant patch I've seen in quite a while, cheers

  • Really great bit of programming there. This is so relaxing and intelligent. I agree with the other comment, its good to hear music from modulars every once in a while, not just sound.

  • amazing sounds and melodies

  • Amazing!!!! , I've posted this video on my blog switchedonsynthesizer.blogspot . com

  • I love it!!! Excellent job!! The DotCom Q960 and Q962 are next on my list and that Modcan quantizer may follow soon after!

Very beautiful and interesting sequence! :-)

  • Awesome. That random volts+quantizer does a mean keyboard solo!

  • That is a brilliant patch, and some nice sequence work as well. Very innovative.

  • it's nice to see people make music with a modular and not just noise

  • Brilliant!! A really nice sequence!
