  • thank you very much this video helped me too much thank youuuuu

  • You need to be passionate about what you want to do, which is apparently contradictory to the way you actually feel.

  • i applied 4 a part time job at an italian restuarant to be a waitress.....im not italian.... and i dont want a career in this sector.... i just need the job to pay for my college and get a new car...how do i convince them im better than the few italian people who are experianced in waitering and want the same job as me?!?!?!?!......help pleasee...xxx

  • @thegreeneyes01

By lying threw the whole interview

  • interviewing is designed to tell how well you interview, nothing else.

  • @smedheat not quite -- interviewing is a two way street. it is designed to see if the interviewing company believes you are a good fit for them, and more importantly the reverse -- for you to decide if you think this company is a good fit for you. If you go in there with the wrong attitude, you'll probably walk away with nothing.

  • I've heard so much about this company.....and they are a leader in the industry.....I'm impressed with the back ground and the stories of the founders...THIS IS THE COMPANY I'VE BEEN LOOKING TO WORK WITH AND GROW WITH....where things are constantly developing and changing...and I believe I have great deal of experience to offer.............

    Thumps up...........

  • Thanks Don. I am going for an interview soon. it was very helpful.

  • one person didn't answer the question.

  • I would not say that I need the money -- makes you sound desparate.

  • that's the worst thing you can say. It's the kiss of death for sure. Instead, consider telling them what you like about their company or products.

  • @DGeorgevich Well I recently applied to some place called Aaron's. Its a department store. I have never heard of this place before, I walked in asked if they were hiring and they said yes.

Now my main reason for applying there is because I need a job and I need money.

Now what if I were to say that I need money, but included things like I like I would like to learn new skills and help out others? I mean I figure if I don't include the whole I need money part they would think i was lying.

  • I always want to say "cause i need a job, cause i need money. duh." i hate lying.

  • Answer is straight out of the book: "Great answers to tough interview questions" !
