  • I want these! Some other "projects" include shaving the integrated grips down like crazy. Normally I don't mind such an undertaking as I'm fairly mechanically inclined. But shave down the ridge off plastic frame permanently? WHY? Cheers to you, boss! I'd love to buy your grips if they and YOU were easier to contact!

  • 22/45's mount any .45 grip . just a little mods . with no screw mods ......

    Talk to me ?

  • contact me at iauction4u@csinet.net for information about grips

  • i was prepareing to take my mark 3 apart when i pulled the trigger it dry fired ok and when i pulled the mag it made a weird clicking noise so now it wont cock or acept a mag anyone know anything about thiis

  • How can I get ahold of you to purchase a set of these grips? I tried emailing you to no avail. Thanks!

  • while you're in your garage drilling your .22 grip im in your bed gripping and drilling your wife...sorry man but she loves it.

  • @philly2sd: You're insulting someone who upgrades guns... how dumb are you?

Thanks for the vid 9rojam, very helpful

  • yeah, i knew that guys... hence the "lol jk" i dryfire all my rimfires and have never damaged anything. now the rest of you can crucify me for that....

  • I also make grips for the Ruger MKII 22/45

  • will these work on a mk11 22/45?

  • will these work on a mk11 22/45?

  • The clip is very informational, wished if there was less echo in video.

  • so where can i get a set of these grips

  • cool

  • You could drill the 1/8" hole instead of the smaller just feel as if there is less chance of the drill bit trying to walk off center.

  • May I ask, why do you not drill the 1/8" hole in the grip and frame at the same time?

  • how much are your mag extensions and do you make the grips in coyote brown? I also was wondering if on the MKII 22/45 if i were to do the grip mod with the dremmel if a regular 1911 grip would fit without having to take some off near the mag release button?

  • how much do these grips cost from you?

  • @SonntagMaxwell Make two styles one is a hard textured surface the other is the same texture but in a rubberized finish. Cost is hard textured $12.95 rubberized textured $17.95

  • why do people get all worked up when you dry fire these rugers? it doesn't hurt them, I've watched many videos about this gun, and in order to disassemble you need to dry fire

  • Just ordered some grips and mag bases from you this morning. Looking forward to doing the mod.

  • can any 1911 grips be attached or just yours?

  • @Juice56107 any 1911 grips can be used, but only for the 22/45 interchangeable grips gun.

  • what email addy ? where is it listed please

  • @schornstinefager it is at the beggining of the vid.

  • hey man im a lil new to the ruger mk series but i actually just purchased a ruger 22/45 rp mk3 and was wondering if u knew of any website i might be able to find accessories such as barrel comps, compotition grade grips, trigger kits, etc. i have looked around but since ive never owned a mk1 or 2 i dont know whether or not some items are compatable. i see title for mk3s and mk3 22/45s and dont know if there is a large difference. any guidance would be appreciated. ty

  • Do you have a link to where you bought the grips?

  • I make the grips email me at the email provided

  • @9rojam Ah I want a set so badly. If you're still selling please do let me know.

  • Excellent product!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!! I was just about to sell my 22 45 for a mark 2 or a Camper and now I do not have too. Can't wait to order your grips!!! Great video.

    Bzonic

  • Yup just sent in my order. Can't Wait.

  • Hi Dominic,

I just wanted to thank you for posting your video, and making available such a beautifully simple solution to an "unalterable" shortcoming of the narrow framed 22/45. I installed a set of your grips and have been totally pleased with the results. The 22/45 now feels much more like a Colt 1911. Take Care, Greg

  • wow I would really need those, seeing that im accustomed to the size of a glock grip

    BIG difference!

  • what kind of mount and optic are u using?

  • Looks like a CMORE

  • Hi great & clear explaination. However, one of the things that attracted me to the 22/45 is the narrow slender grips which enabled my to get my hands around the trip and a little squeeze - giving me one of the most accurate fitting .22's I own. And one of the most accurate as well. I sure wish you could explain other things like how to do a trigger job on a S&W sigma 9mm. That trigger is atrocious. Thanks for a great vid. I'll look forward to hopefully more. Sincerely,d JAMES.

  • AAAHHH!! he dry-fired a rim fire!!!!

    lol jk

nice job. need to keep this in mind...

  • The Ruger MK's are designed where you can dry fire without damage.

  • Unless it's the Mark III with the damn Mag Safety. Wish Ruger would stop trying to buile a S&W. LOL

  • @HardcoreSlot LOL I JUST THOUGHT THE SAME THING .... CHECK MY CHANNEL FOR NEVER BEFORE SEEN COMBAT FOOTAGE IN AFGHANISTAN

  • @HardcoreSlot just found out the ruger 22 45 has a firing pin stop, it's ok to dry fire.
