Very well done. Thank you. I've known Bung Bo for a long time but I learned a few new things from this video. You should help the other Sifu with understanding the Tang Lang Jhut Dung form that he performs.
He is a county sheriff when not teaching, his technique is legit n the man can break you donw in a street fight as he worked in the prison system as well and people feared him.
Great Form.. Give it an A+.. Real Deep stance and not to fast.. Not like that other guy that was trying to dance.. I see old school training is still around.. thanks for the video
I like the way Sifu Lee has strong stance I was wondering and would like it if you can post both white sash forms (mimi bo and the 1st braodsword form)
Thank you
P.S - its just becuase I'd like to see if i do mimi bo alright when I'm not at the temple t.y
Sashes are symbolic, the important is the kwnowledge. The point is this guy is not a Master,he doesn't even appear in the lineage of the style as a Baishi. His Beng Bu is not bad, but neither beautiful.
it's cool dude. people dont understand the student-disciple-shifu-master-grandmaster process and that a great many people who claim to be shifu's, let alone masters, are full of shit. many people claim to be gongfu, taiji, or qi gong masters and scam tons of people who think they're learning traditional gong fu. so yea, you're right. he's not a master and not a part of the lineage, you can tell just by his form. but these people won't care what you say so you may as well give it a rest.
The guy in the video I Posted have been Wolrd Champion in Traditional Tang Lang twice (2006 and 2008). Look at my videos the one with the label "Beng Bu".
First, I'm not telling my forms are best,I need two more evaluations for my black belt.
Second, the forms are not performing by me, but by a friend. By the way it was a practice, not a competition or a exhibition.
Third, this guy and his father claim to be "Second Generation Masters" and that's impossible, 'cuz Wang Lang the first generation master lived around 1600 A.C.
Fourth, I posted a video response of a friend of mine that won the Traditional World Championship in TangLang twice.
Wow, you have alot of friends that do ma.. ALso, I wasn't aware there was anyone around in 1600 A.C. (whatever A.C. means :)
Good luck with your black belt.
In chinese MA systems we use sashes to protect the organs, and if ur Shifu is serious about what he teaches, it doesn't really matter the colour or anything.
For your information my Sifu is a Bai Shi (discple) of GM Dai Shizhe (Tai Shi Che) a Gong Fu Brother of GM Su Yu Chang and Bai Shi of GM Liu Yun Qiao.
I take Kung Fu with the Hip Kyun Kung Fu Federation. I joined late in the year and only got my white sash, but I was still able to learn Arrow Hands, Gun Gee Fook Fu, Tun Da and Tiger Crane. Once my sifu starts back up after summer he's supposed to teach me Bung Bo.
As mentioned before, absolutely beautiful, fluid and graceful but still containing power.
im currently a brown belt going for my first level this week, and once im a junior black belt i can help lead the beginners class, i get maily tought intergrated martialarts, but i also learn kung-fu from Utube and other sourses, im currently learning the wu shu snake form, i want to learn moe of it but my master says that i need to be more profficiant and do my other forms better be4 i learn the ending
Very, very good.I'm only Brown IV (I'm graduating to Brown V on June 14th) and have let to learn that form, but it is easily recognized. I'm currently training to be an instructor... and i'm only 13.
doubtful unless your in a mcdojo. you can't be an instructor until your a black belt. (assistant instructor at brown) And in the majority of good martial arts they don't allow you to graduate to black belt until your 18.
Known from experience, i was taught karate in a McDojo... but it was a very good one. (just as good at the techniques, he just rushed people through the belts too fast. We had a guy on purple belt in under a year...)
uh huh and hung gar northern kung fu HA! you probably take like tiger shulmans and think its kung fu, boy you have allot to learn. (to anyone who actually thinks hung gar is norther kung fu its not its southern dont think i dont know.)
Everyone who is very impressed with this example of Bung Bo should be sure to view the video of Brendan Lai performing the same form available here on YouTube. Brendan Lai is, of course, one of the most famous 7* practicioners in the US.
this is supreme. It is obvious from a spiritual standpoint that this man has developed his own interpretation of the form to his own brand of perfection. I bow to you, and wish only to learn what I am able.
Ok, one question, before mantis serves Tea, wasnt that last stance suppose to be Munkey stance back fist than serves Tea stance? Cause that what i have on my Bung Bo
Nice, except for the extra little shakes of the hooks on the catching cicada posture. Makes it look like wushu competition. Thank god someone actually stomps for the crushing step... most on youtube do not.
leg should power the arms ! thats whats missing sometimes! also dont look down when you attack straight in front (small jump : 5th move of the form) greetz
Glad to see there is stil people out there that do the MA respectfully, and the way they should be, instead of trying to make money. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Nice stuff.
You must be focusing on power and correctness am I right? Very good form sir.

He's got a little of the dramatic wushu wobble, but I love the low stances. A lot of training went into this: props.

WHats wrong with his form? At every position you could stop him and test his stance. Rock solid the way its supposed to be.
I took a look at some of your videos. Amatuerish at best

You ask your shifu how much a sash means and he will probably tell you its just for show other than the practical function that I have mentioned.
Dont be an idiot
