There have been a number of incidents whereas Officers were KILLED because they were hesistant in that very situation. I see nothing he did wrong. Had the subject removed his hands, nothing would've happened.
The subject was quickly detained without bodily harm being inflicted upon him or the officer. Not having one's hands visible -- and failing to comply to showing those hands -- is a major red flag !! Unless you've been in an Officer's shoes you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT !!
People see a video of an Officer in a conflict w/ an offender on youtube and everyone's panties is in a wad. What youtube doesn't show is those Officer's getting serious injured or killed in similar scenarios.

a good police officer wouldve handled the situation differently he wouldve first found out what was going on by asking, he wouldve calmed the guy down first because he just been through a fight, you can hear it on the radio, he wouldve asked who threw the first punch and would ask the witnesses around the area of who attacked who, the guy in the video didnt do any of that, not a good police officer.

I see your point to a degree. but if after 3-4 attempts to be reasonable, and being denied, the officer has reason to suspect something in the pocket. Knife, gun, a simple shank, something to that degree. The officer made sure to quickly prevent the guy from moving. Simple safety.

ya he couldve had a missile or a jet fighter in his pocket, he may even have had a nuclear weapon, because the guy looked like he was really about to pull a knife on two people with guns, how does that make sense? the point is that there was NO knife and you cannot kick, punch, tackle or arrest someone with out knowing for sure, you cant just assume everyone has a weapon you cant arrest someone before he has actually done the crime, and there was no crime here..

Ive shown this video to two cops already, and they were disgusted by this video, its good to know allot of people in the force wont abuse their authority like this, one of them said that if he was there at the time the kid wouldve just gotten a ticket and the police officer wouldve got suspended and the kid would be asked if he wanted to press charges on the officer...

Where'd the Officer 'abuse authority'? He gave the subject a lawful command to remove his hands from his pockets on a number of occasions. After failing to comply to that lawful order, the Officer detained the subject as quickly as possible -- without the conflict escalating.
There have been a number of incidents whereas Officers were KILLED because they were hesistant in that very situation. I see nothing he did wrong. Had the subject removed his hands, nothing would've happened.

The subject was quickly detained without bodily harm being inflicted upon him or the officer. Not having one's hands visible -- and failing to comply to showing those hands -- is a major red flag !! Unless you've been in an Officer's shoes you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT !!
People see a video of an Officer in a conflict w/ an offender on youtube and everyone's panties is in a wad. What youtube doesn't show is those Officer's getting serious injured or killed in similar scenarios.

If a cop asks you to take your hands out of your pockets, TAKE YOUR HANDS OUT OF YOUR POCKETS! Refusing to do so doesn't just piss off the cop, but makes it look like you're hiding a weapon. Thus, the choke/throw down.
There are many, MANY legitimate cases of police brutality out there, but this isn't one of them.
