  • First, Don't call me a nerd. a perpetual motion machine is impossible because it goes against the Laws of physics because of friction! Second watch my vids and PLEASE subscribe!

  • Just add a few more magnets, and adjust for a fourth day perhaps. It's clearly pretty close to running perpetually.

  • Still a cool design. :)

  • Well looks good try to align the magnets in the circumference at an angle not perpendicular gauss motors work . Also try to lighten the assembley that spins air friction alone is high on your rig think light and sturdy aerodynamic counts alot here thin discs generaliy used try a cd and CA glue. dont fret lookup how many times edison failed before he got the "RIGHT Filament" for his famed light bulb people scoffed thought he was a mad man GODSPEED and GOOD LUCK

  • You know why there's no penalty for breaking the laws of physics? 'Cause you can't do it!

  • It looks like you tried for about 5 seconds.

  • it actually needs to be precise, and evenly set up, you can even eyeball that that isn't a well set up spiral, it needs to be more than a half ass attempt.

  • the reason it didn't work is because for it to be perpetual all the magnes must have EXACTLY the same strength which unless you are God will not work

  • lol also that whole friction air resitance and impossible anyaways thing.

  • sorry bud... no such thing as infinite energy and perpetual motion

  • You need to create multiple magnetic fields, the reason it is not spinning is when it reaches the point where it stops there are no other forces acting on it.

  • your problem maybe be that you need an odd number of interior fields.... like 3 so that the force can overcome the magnetic gate.... you could also get mechanical and use magnetic shielding

  • your useing a wankel engin it doenst go allthe way around look at my faves and use a round magnet outter ring with a gap in it ... it might work better if you can spperate the two iner and outer magnets verticly not just on a flat plain..idk go fo rit experiment and learn!

  • you should put two sides on your rotor

  • 100% perpetual motion is impossible, just think at air friction....

  • Uhm, Dewd yer standin' on it... durrrr

  • Standing on what? A planet that is slowing down every year, that will eventually synchronize with its primary to become a one-face, just like the moon did millions of years ago? Durrrrrr.

  • Thats funny, would you please give me a time frame. I would like to know when I will stop going in circles.

  • Increase of roughly 1.7ms/century has been calculated. At that rate, in about 1.4 billion years, the earth will be locked in rotation to the moon's orbit. Given that the sun is expected to go nova before that, it may be moot.

  • The earth will not stop spinning, and if it does that energy would be transfered somewhere else. We may slow down (at a rate which is barely even worth considering) but will never stop going around the sun. Also, the sun will not go nova in that short of time period. It's more like another 4 or 5 billion years before we burn up. Try to prove me wrong if you like, but our universe and everything in it, including what you're stanin' on is solid proof of perpetual motion. Take a good look around 8)

  • You confuse inertia and momentum with over-sum energy production. An object spinning in a vacuum conserves entropy. Perpetual motion violates it ESPECIALLY in the presence of any kind of friction. You are right that energy is not destroyed, but neither is it CREATED.

  • the sun is too small. it won't be a supernova.

  • It did not work for you hey, why am I not surprised!

  • it needs 3 legs on so 2 help pull the 3rd past the sticky spot

  • It needs 3 legs so 1+2 get 3 past the sticky spot then 2+3 get 1 past then 3+1 get 2 past etc......

  • Haha! keep it up.

  • well don wou lirned a lot.

  • Keep it up, we are all getting closer. Well done.

  • Ok, if you want to achieve perpetual motion, you cannot do it be adjusting for a hundred days.

This device has no way of passing the sticky spot. What you need to do is think, think and think of a brilliant way of passing the point. Then you can try again, waste noo more time with this design.

  • ofcourse it didnt, perpetual motion dosnt exist

  • Great!
