If you look closely he tries to kiss her and then stops at 2:16-17 and also look closely at his face at 2:19-20.

The fact tha he knows where she is doesn't mean he knew she had that big wound next to her lips, which he later touches gently at 2:50 and then he kisses her.

There was nothing wrong with the original colours!

I love this scene, when he produces the necklace he had bought so long ago... and he wants to kiss her but finds it too disgusting at 2:18, then he touches her lip wound and finally dares kissing her anyway.

And it's obvious she had a disease, just have a look at her face.

I read about it somewhere, it wasn't clear for me either what really happened to her. Nevertheless, its no damn roses for both..Sad.
