A lot of people trash Michelle Ryan for playing the new Bionic Woman but I thought she was a great choice. The problem was the people behind the series seemed to have no grasp of what make the original series work and, worse, seemed at times to have contempt for the source material. That's no way to do a remake. Both Bionic Woman and Six Million $ Man would work fine today, if they had someone behind the camera who understands what made the originals so popular.

To this day, the music that plays when she starts running towards the camera, lifts me up to a place full of hope and dreams,I wish todays shows exuded the same, class, decency truth and wholesome upright values.there was never anything sleazy about Jamie or Steve, even though they ere both very attractive.Pity society seems to have slid downhill to aplace where cheesey bimbos that are so painfully tacky are the image young girls have pushed at them. So glad I grew up in an era of Class.

The classic was fun. They tried to update it by making it more serious and they missed the point of the original; it was light fun and that's what made it a hit.  I loved the episode that featured the fembots.

I have to admit - I tried to watch the new version with great hopes and it fell flat for me - there's no instant connection to the show that you got back in the 70s...and Lindsay Wagner had that spark and dynamic personality. I used to copy her and jump off really high fences and try to crush tennis balls with my hand...it was tons of fun back then.

I agree! Lindsay was and IS forever THE Bionic Woman. Her Jaime had a sense of humor, vulnerability, courage. Her Jaime was such a great role model. (and I, too, jumped off of things such as my house!! and trees trying to be like her and Steve! Fortunately, no broken bones LOL) Long live Lindsay Wagner!!!
