It looks better than Fable, because Project Ego is not actually Fable. It's clearly a different game. If you believe the misconception that they're the same, then Lionhead successfully swindled you.

I certainly won't forget how they swapped out an amazing open-world game for Fable.

@NiMayne Neither will I. It stills occurs in my mind sometimes how great a game like Project Ego would b. No "menus" except to equip things. Stats that simply advance based on what you do without any "gamey" UI-notice of what is changing. Open world exploring. Removing the artificial puppet strings that so many RPGs bind you to. Peter had a great idea.

Frankly I still blame the Xbox for the death of that idea - it had mediocre hardware and peter said console gamers wouldn't understand his idea.

Yes, Project Ego was just a project name for Fable.

Omg, I searched it everywhere. That was my favourite trailer but I could find it not anymore... 5 stars and fav! In my opinion Fable (I+II) is one of the best games ever.
